Hey there folks!
Welcome to the wonderful world of Modeval! This is an ever evolving world full of modern stereotypes. The story may change in some ways, but the knight and wizard will always be looking for treasure, as we do.
I've been only able to catch one denizen of this magical modern world but I still need to be able to catch more. With your help, I can do this.
So, all in all, the gold you guys are donating for this project is going to be transferring to the cast, crew, equipment, prop makers, transportation, festival fare, composers and post production experts.
The cast are still a work in progress but there are some very characters dedicated to the cause and want to help. I just want to be able to pay them squarely.
The crew is the only thing in deficiency. The crew is few and far between and I hope this kickstarter attracts more worthy knaves to the cause.
The equipment only includes a magical item known as a boom pole; used to help record sounds- what kind of sorcery is that? At least that's all for now.
Luckily, I have a few great prop makers on hand willing to make gauntlets, amulets, pouches and all the essentials for my characters. I also would want to pay these smiths handsomely.
Modeval is in a distant land and all the fares to the kingdom are quite pricey so I want to be able to cover all the fares of the travelers who are lending a hand with this endeavor.
Yes, I will submit this project to film festivals where all hamlets can potentially see this mighty production. They too can be quite high.
This type of endeavor needs beautiful musical accompaniment and composers from the far island of Harmonia would need a lot of gold in their purses.
Modeval is a land full of sorcery and we may need a few good sorcerers to heavily add in these effects after the project is done you see.

Risks and challenges
Whenever you start a film, you have to be ready for the unexpected troll or archer that might screw up production. But if we manage to get through that issue we should be okay. Should.
The production part is often the most difficult but the editing and sewing in of all the elements might be even more difficult because of the game elements we're introducing. This is probably where I want to ask all of the gamers some insight into how the battles can go. There is a finished script but I want to update and send everyone mockups of how the battles can fall through and have some general advice along the way.
The other issue is the rewards, obviously. Most of these rewards are digital and I've been studying creative software for the last four years so that won't be much trouble. I don't have much experience mailing the rewards out but I'm sure I'll get the hang out of it soon. Printing the rewards won't be an issue since I work with printers as a smithy at my regular job.
After all that, I have to submit the film to festivals, especially ones in the gamer community. Looking for festivals that niche and specific will be a challenge but there are great sources out there.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
