Are you scared of the ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE? Worried about where you could hide should the HORDES come knocking? Well look no further. Donate today to help create the world’s first ‘ZOMBIE FORTIFICATION CABIN’ and prepare for the end of the world as we know it.
Construction specialists Tiger Sheds have teamed up with the experts at Zombie Infection to build a custom designed, high spec log cabin with everything you need to protect yourself and stay safe in the event of a zombie takeover.
The finished structure will be built inside the grounds of one of the Zombie Infection sites, either a vast abandoned factory or within the eerie grounds of Sherwood Forest – both areas long lost to the undead. Here it will become the landmark of this terrifying and life-changing reality survival experience, designed to test your instincts and prepare you for the apocalypse.
Zombie Infection provide the UK’s best zombie survival experiences, with demanding and once-in-a-lifetime-events; from being thrown into the complete dark in a unfamiliar environment with just a flashlight and a hoard of zombies coming at you to long survival weekends which test players endurance and teamwork when combating the undead.
Having joined forces Tiger Sheds and Zombie Infection want to tweak and bring the ZFC prototype to life then place it strategically in a custom made real life zombie survival experience game to wow, thrill and capture the imagination of players for years to come.
In 2014 UK online shed retailer Tiger Sheds were inspired by the ongoing threat of an imminent zombie apocalypse and therefore created a prototype of the world’s first and only certified Zombie Proof Log Cabin as a product to buy on their website, launched on Halloween 2014.
Crowdfunding is an ideal way to raise funds for this project as many people, especially avid zombie enthusiasts, would want to contribute and be part of building and experiencing the ZFC-1!
As this product was so popular when it first launched it's a great idea for everyone to participate in not only the manufacturing of the Zombie Proof Cabin but also have the opportunity for a real life zombie experience that they will never forget.
Each site has its own creepy and unique characteristics and each experience will be crammed with scares, surprises and of course blood thirsty zombies!
The ZFC was advertised on the Tiger Sheds website with the following key features:
• Upper deck with 360 deg vantage point and escape hatch;
• Re-enforced slit windows, walls and doors;
• Barbed Wire Surround;
• Arsenal storage and weaponry;
• Garden Section to grow vegetables;
• Toilet System;
• Kitchen area and microwave;
• Living area with TV, Xbox and Sound system Turntables;
• 10 Year Anti Zombie Guarantee.
To ensure that the Zombie Proof Cabin fits in perfectly in the chosen experience venue there may be some changes on the sizes and upgrades to features – all updates to spec will be shown here on this page.

Risks and challenges
Manufacturing such a large and bespoke building will be a huge challenge but the team at Tiger Sheds has invested time and effort to build a functional and achievable 3D CAD model of the original ZFC1 to ensure that the design can realistically be brought to life.
The biggest challenge faced was to identify and secure a suitable location and event that could make use of the Zombie Proof Cabin once constructed but as soon as the link was established between Tiger Sheds and Zombie Infection it was clear that if the funds were raised to build it that the experience and expertise of Zombie Infection would ensure it was put to the best possible use in the future.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
