A small town is rocked when a murder investigation exposes a twenty-year-old kidnapping case. In this indie crime thriller, Detective Sabrina Jackson must solve both crimes, set two decades apart, to unravel the truth. As the story unfolds, the cases become intertwined, the stakes get higher, and time is running out.
As senior Film, Television and Media Arts students at Quinnipiac University, we have chosen to produce Ursa Minor, a 15-20 minute narrative film, as our undergraduate capstone project.
This film will be the culmination of our experiences and training at Quinnipiac University. This is our chance to show our potential. Our team is made up of extremely passionate filmmakers who strive to make Ursa Minor both emotionally compelling and visually stunning. With your help, we can make this dream a reality.
Your donations make our film possible! Every dollar that is donated will go towards crucial things including, but not limited to:
- Production equipment rental
- Travel costs
- Set design
- Special effects
- Copyright fees
One of the most important things that your money will go towards is submitting our short film to various film festivals. Not only is this a great way for our film to get exposure, it’s also a great opportunity for us as filmmakers to dive head first into the film industry at a professional level.
Risks and challenges
There are always risks and challenges involved in the production of a film. Fortunately, we have considered the possibilities beforehand and are prepared for unforeseen bumps in the road. If anything happens, we will keep our Kickstarter backers informed by posting in the updates section. Our crew is extremely passionate and will go above and beyond to ensure that our film is high quality and is produced to the best of our ability.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
