@Jasco, Your Going to be at Origins!!!!!!!!!??????????????
I just put in for my time of
Origins is my local Con
Thanks for the responses Jasco!
Shame you won't be at PAX but no big deal
For the latter part about rules/playtesting... I guess that more or less confirms no large changes were made since the original campaign then which is a shame. Hopefully we just misunderstood it back then because it seemed like it needed some work (based on the video) and a lot of good ideas/feedback were put out there. Seems like over the past year you could have looked into a bunch of them and polished he game further. I'll wait for the rules at this point though and appreciate you taking the time to respond.
@Brett - Sorry for the delay, was caught up this week with a bunch of things on colors.
We will not be at PAX East. We had hoped to make it but couldn't with the schedule that we have this year. We will have some people at Origins, but I don't think that they're going to have anything that's not UFS related.
When the game was conceived and most playtesting was done, we had a fair amount of people who worked remotely, and now that we're all together, the game was basically done and didn't require a ton of playtest. However, we had our playtest groups trying out the game, and I know that the group in Texas have done a lot of playtesting. The game has experienced a few tweaks since originally in the campaign, although it is pretty set. When we get the rules laid out for all to see we hope you are as thrilled as we are with the final product.
So I guess you aren't checking this anymore then?
Also... will you all be at PAX East and if so are you bringing and MM board game stuff?
@Jasco. How much play testing has been done and by how many people? I would have thought most people at Jasco would have had to try it a bunch at this point to make sure everything was perfect. Has much changed since last year gameplay wise?
@Safyrejet - Yes, I really liked #2 myself. Was a difficult decision to be sure, but I think that one had great potential.
@IKalios - The game is fun. It's fast-paced, and everyone has to keep in mind their own turns, there's very little down time for all players, which is great. However, I have only played it a few times, because I mostly focus on the artwork and miniatures and approval process.
Agreed, great artwork!
That's some gorgeous artwork. =D
This isn't a question, but i wanted to thank you for sharing this, It's great to see so much behind the scenes stuff like these.
I think #2 is my favorite. Thanks for showing some of the concept art. I love that sort of behind the scenes work.
Ok. So now I am glad you didn't post weekly updates. No need for me to share in THAT experience.
Question : Is the game fun ? Did you playtest it or did you just worked on the miniatures ? Thank you, nice stuff.
