In the year 20XX, Jasco Games created Mega Man™ the Board Game. Destined to grace tabletops everywhere, the board game takes the classic formula that made the original Blue Bomber so memorable and transfers it to a whole new arena. This officially licensed board game brings gamers and board game enthusiasts everything they love about Mega Man: iconic robot masters, sinister villains, incredible power ups, and polished game play.
Created by fans of Mega Man and the publisher of the Universal Fighting System CCG, the board game is Jasco Games’ love letter to one of the best video game characters of all time. We have launched this Kickstarter for two reasons. First, and most importantly, we’re seeking funding to make this the board game we always wanted to make. Kickstarter funding will allow us to use better materials, offer more extras like miniatures, cards, extra boards, and polish the finalized product, giving fans an even better experience and something that will be worthy of any Mega Man enthusiast’s collection. Second, we wanted fans to have a chance to show their support for Mega Man and be involved in this exciting process.
Thanks to everyone who has given us support already, and thank you to the fans for sharing with us their passion and excitement. Together, we will make this board game Dr. Light’s greatest creation (with the exception of Mega Man, of course).

Pledge Levels that are denoted as "Early Bird" are available for the first 24 hours of the Kickstarter only. Be sure to be an early supporter and get your Early Bird discount! Don't let the limited number fool you, we're going to keep a close eye on them, and adjust those as needed.

Purchase Add-ons are additional game pieces you can pledge for to expand your games of Mega Man The Board Game. These game pieces will allow you to add new and interesting cards, rules and miniatures to your game.
Follow these steps to receive an Add-on:
- Click on the blue "Manage Pledge" in the top right of the Kickstarter page.
- Increase your pledge by the cost of the Add-on(s) you wish to receive.
- Keep your preferred pledge level selected.
- At the end of the Kickstarter we will send you a Kickstarter Survey which you can use to tell us which Add-ons you wish to receive.

NOTE: All sponsored Items will be Kickstarter Exclusive add-ons outside of purchasing direct from the sponsor.
Because this is a licensed product, our contract with Capcom limits us to sales in North America, Europe, Australia/New Zealand, and the Middle East Only. If you live outside of these territories, we will not be able to ship pledged items to you.
If we reach enough funding, we will discuss extending our licensed territory with Capcom. You may still purchase the Mega Man Supporter pledge level to get updates and news. Backers that live in the assigned territory but outside of the United States must add the specified cost for shipping to their pledges.
Risks and challenges
A project of this scope requires the successful collaboration of artists, sculptors, writers, game designers, and manufacturers. Managing this complex process and minimizing delays are the largest challenges we face in bringing Mega Man the Board Game to market. We have learned from past experience that success requires careful planning and a full understanding of the scope of the project. In order to facilitate the timely delivery of Mega Man The Board Game, Jasco Games and Ninja Division have brought in a host of new talent to work on the project.
To help ensure realistic deadlines, we have completed the vast majority of our development before launching the Kickstarter. Sculpts for the game pieces are almost entirely complete. The rulebook and game components are deep in development and will be ready for layout soon. Our manufacturers are also ready and have reserved factory time for the project. This means that as soon as the project is funded, we can lock down a timeline with our manufacturers to get the game produced.
It is our commitment to you, the Kickstarter backers, that we will maintain consistent communication throughout the process. This means regular updates, product photos, and plenty of behind the scenes insight as we complete the creation of Mega Man The Board Game.

The $160 goal went through some edits, and unfortunately, we didn't update the pledge level on the right before the Kickstarter launched. When someone backs it, we cannot edit the information. The graphic is correct, you WILL receive all bonus stretch goals for the Super Mega Buster.

We have been working with CapCom since the start of this project and have secured a license. The reason why all the images say Pending CapCom Approval is because at the end of the day, they own the Mega Man IP and have final say in how everything looks. That being said, everything we have shown them so far has received positive comments and we anticipate continuing support from CapCom.

There three different types of stretch goals that are unlocked.
Upgrades - This will affect all pledge levels
Bonus Stretch Goals - These are "freebies" that are included at the pledge levels of Dr. Lights Creation and higher.
Add-ons - These are unlocks that are not required, but will allow players to expand the game.

We are still exploring different options on how to solve this. Because we have to honor the property of Mega Man, we have to be careful about changing his color if the colored minis goal is unlocked. However, we understand this concern and will update this answer when we have a finalized method.
