A Little Gift from Green Eye Games

Hello & Merry Christmas to all of our wonderful backers!

We wanted to find some way to show our appreciation and love for all of you and thank you for your amazing support of our project.  So, we put Sandy to work on designing a fun little Print & Play game for you to download... just in time for the Holidays!

Click here to download the PDF!

The game is designed to be printed with just about any printer (black & white -or- color) on just about any paper, and just requires 2 standard decks of playing cards (including 2 Jokers), to go with the print-outs.   Of course, once you get your Cthulhu Wars miniatures, you can also use those in this game, too!

We hope you enjoy it (let us know what you think in the comments), and we wish for all of you the Happiest of Holidays!

With Love & Joy,

The Team at Green Eye Games

Only just had chance to check this out but looks looks like a neat little card game that'll benefit greatly from the addition of CW minis :) Thanks!

      Thanks for this!

Any update coming soon on when we can expect the game to ship to backers?

Looks like there is only one minion per player in the pdf but you need more than one to play. Any idea how many should each player have typically?

I am sorry for the confusion about "destroying" an enemy minion. Yes, it must be surrounded first, then it can be destroyed. It is actually kind of hard to destroy a minion, by intent. The illustrations we chose made it seem like just surrounding the minion killed it. My bad.

The minions are indeed used to hamper the movement of the opposing cultist, so that HE can be eaten by Cthulhu, while you escape.

And, gaaah, forgive my rudeness – thanks very much for the gift, and Merry Christmas!

Shane -- I'm not sure, but what I THINK it's saying is that, as long as a minion does not have to destroy itself, it can take out another minion with its own existence.

Sandy – am I correct in my presumption that the reason for minions in this game is to limit the movement of the two acolytes?

Thank you for making a direct download available. I know it's nice to be able to farm out the bandwidth drain, but I'm trying to severely curtail the amount of sites with my personal information available to them. The game looks like fun!

The rules for destroying a minion don't seem to add up. The description tells how to once a minion is surrounded it can move onto another to destroy itself and the target, but the example shows how a fully surrounded minion (0 distance on any side) is destroyed. Could you elaborate?
