@ Adam - yeah I agree, much easier to keep track of everything on here rather than deep in so e forum.

Please continue to provide project updates on KS rather than moving everything to a forum. I have several projects to keep track of and prefer not chasing around the web trying to find out what is going on.

      Thanks,
      Adam

I wouldn't mind moving over to the GEG forums though...

@Salvador - You are in luck.

"we are actually planning an art book for the future to be available from the GEG website and might even do a small kickstarter for it so people can get it cheaper."

Thanks for posting here! Hate getting diverted to forums! LOL

      Looking forward to them.
And you should think of doing a physical book with the art and the stories behind each one of them.

      @Bruno
In my experience, Cthulhu works better when he's taken as a casualty. Hastur is such a threat, especially to other GOOs that he's not fought as often and Shub should NEVER go into battle alone as she's almost always got her brood about her. As you said, Nyarlathotep has a bit of shielding from anything but a GOO, and if he gets whacked the Crawling Chaos probably has a bit of power taken from paining/killing a GOO in the battle to help him come back out, so no biggie. Thus far, I think the GOOs work great as is.

Great news! Thanks GEG! so how soon can we term this collective a cult?? :D

    9. Bruno Freitas on July 9, 2013

      That's good news, Sandy.

On a side note (I beg gour pardon if it is in the wrong place/time/dimension) I am somehow concerned about the fragility of the GOOs in general. Except Nyarlathothep, any other GOO just can't expect to come alive from a big conflit where it battled alone.

Could you add a rule that, for example, GOOs can spend power to keep alive equal to the damage received? Afterall, they are GOOs, not some kind of undead or deep one.

I really know that you have playtested alot and thanks for your effort!

I for one think that Sandy P/Richard are doing the right thing. Most kick starters I have been involved with.....shut down shop and go incommunicado immediately after the KS. It's almost like..."Okay, I have your money so leave me alone" Okay...maybe I am exaggerating a bit but you get my drift.
I like the fact they keep us in the loop even after the KS has ended.

Hurray! I was already beginning to go into withdrawals from lack of updates/previews.

    12. Simon Elsen on July 9, 2013

Man I cant wait to get the game. Hopefully it arrives before Christmas. That would be totally insane :D But no rush- if it needs more time to be top notch take it! Nothing is more disappointing than a rushed release with some flaws!

    13. Michael D'Auben on July 9, 2013

Sounds amazing! I really look forward to the chance to watch this game come together and grow into something amazing.

Can't wait to see some more creepy concepts!

@Tore The paying off the credit card part would be up there for me.

    17. Tore Schade Svenningsson on July 9, 2013

The only bad thing about this kickstarter is that I won't get my grubby hands on the game until December, at earliest. That's the only bad thing I can think of. ^_^

    18. Steven Danielson on July 9, 2013

Great. Your concepts are really spot on and it gives us something to look forward to as we wait for the game to be released.

Thanks for letting us know Richard. Looking forward to the updates.

    20. Kyle Krebs on July 9, 2013

Thanks! I love it when I'm made to still feel "included" after the kickstarter ends. Too many project creators forget about their backers after its all over.

Thanks! I know producing a monster like this will take some time, but seeing it grow, ooze, metamorphose, and tear open gates into our reality will make the waiting bearable. Or terrifying. I'm not sure which yet. Possibly both.
