yet another shipping update!

Posted by Sandy Petersen (Creator)

The United States

The container is at the San Francisco warehouse being processed right now. We are told that this should be finished by next Wednesday. We are also told that ALL orders shipping out of this warehouse will have shipped by next Wednesday.

You will be getting an e-mail with a link to your tracking number as your package leaves the warehouse, and you can then watch as it draws closer to your house.

Ever closer ...
Ever closer ...

European Union

The container is apparently arriving at the German warehouse in the first week of December. From there, it will take 7 business days to finishing processing and shipping the stuff out. Again, when your package leaves, you will get an e-mail with a link to the tracking number and can watch your package zoom across Europe to your home.

No doubt they would get there faster if carried by Byakhee.

Sadly, Canadian customs, in its wisdom, has decided to do a double- and triple-check on Cthulhu Wars. The cost for this are borne by Petersen Games, and you can guess how much we like that. Anyway. It is stuck in Customs, and they will not tell us when it will be released. Write your MP a stern letter, I guess.

Once Canadian Customs has finished playing with the cool pieces, then it will be released to the warehouse, and then it will take 7 business days to get processed and shipped. As packages leave the warehouse, their owners will get e-mails with the tracking numbers to (of course) track the package.

Who can blame Canadian Customs for wanting to fondle this awesome piece?

We are told that the Australian ship will be arriving at the warehouse this Friday (November 27).  It will then take  7 business days for all the packages to ship out. As they do, the owners will receive e-mails with tracking numbers for said package.

If the Postal Service let us use Gates, your stuff would be there yesterday.

The Rest of the World

For everyone else, either it will be shipped from one of the sites above (for instance, if you are in Norway, it will come from the EU; if in Mexico, from the USA; etc.) or it is basically similar to the other areas listed above - it is either IN your warehouse, or shortly to arrive there, and then it will take 7 days to process. Whether you get a tracking number in an e-mail or not I believe depends on your nation. Most will do so.

We'd get there even faster, but our delivery Ghasts keep dying in the daytime.

Wait I need to change my address!

Sadly, it is now too late to change your address, and has been for some time. You have two choices:

1) when you get your tracking e-mail, it will contain the name of the shipping service being used (for instance, in the USA it might be USPS, Fedex, or UPS, depending on your area). Contact that shipping service immediately and tell them how to forward the package.

2) get an affable neighbor or whoever now lives at your old digs to pick up the package for you and forward it.

      Where is it!!!!

    3. HPLazarus

I got 3 tracking numbers from UPS that are from JIT Transportation, which I think is for this. I Googled it, and JIT Transportation handles shipping from all over California, which is where the USA fulfillment center is.

    4. Ken Mortis on

Has anyone from the US started to get their tracking numbers yet?

I'd forgotten to leave enough room for all the goodies!
Now to start making room for onslaught 2...

The container tracking details from the 'Across the night oceans' update indicates that the container arrived at the final Hamburg destination yesterday, 26th Nov. Does this mean the European shipping is now a few days ahead of schedule?

Canadian shipment is on the train!

Holy crap! It's really happening! Even if NZ is the last to get theirs, it'll only be last by a day or two this time. :)

BOE + DVM + a bunch of extras of figure packs and GOOs... wonder what THAT weighs...

      @Arthur @ Sandy
The recent update suggests that the Rest of World shipments, which I assume Asia is a part of, will be processed for shipping in 7 days. Sandy already mentioned it's in the warehouse.
Is this estimate a correct one? It's already been almost 3 weeks, so am just concerned once again and hope the news is correct and does apply to us asian shipments too.
Could you please give us feedback? It's been really hard trying to get any official word about the delays we are having in regards to our shipment, and I think we deserve better communication in regards to this!

@ Arthur, Sandy. What is the name/email of the shipping company for the US? I rarely use my kickstarter email so want to be able to search to see when they send me my notice. Thanks! Have a Great C'thulhugiving day!

Suck that it got held back in Canada, but we've waited this long so far for it. 1 more month (maximum I hope) doesn't sound too bad.

I live just south of SF. I would be happy to save you shipping and pick my stuff up :-)

Oooh, sounds like this might reach Norway before Yule then. Possibly. :D

Are you certain about it taking just another 7 days to process for Asia? It's been in our warehouse for 3 weeks now. And will Malaysia be getting a tracking number?

Having played Diplomacy years ago, I was delighted to see the ship delivering to Germany pass the island of Heligoland, of Helgoland Bight fame.

    22. James Cowling on

Worse than that for Canadians. It should have been on the train to Ontario six days ago. Now we have to wait for Customs to clear it, and then for there to be space on a train, and then for it to arrive in Ontario, and then for the container to be emptied and sorted (it won't be the only thing in the container) and then for all that to go to the warehouse, from where it'll ship.

There was a shot at full Canadian delivery by the 30th if it had gone out by train on the 18th. Now we're probably looking at December 15th, due to increased demand on shippers.

Bad news about Canadian customs, eh?

    24. Nicholas J. Corkigian

Yeah, that sucks. Guess our government wants to see how much extra money they can bleed out. I was really hoping to get this in time for my birthday too. Sigh.
