Aetherworks has informed me that all remaining items are processed and out the door for the Australian and New Zealand backers still waiting on a handful of SKUs.

According to Aetherworks, all the NZ backers had their tracking info sent out last night, and the AU backers have had theirs automatically sent through AusPost’s system.

I apologize again for this delay for these products to all of you!  We wish it hadn't taken so long, but that is sometimes, unfortunately, the nature of massive, global, highly complex projects like Cthulhu Wars!  

We are endeavoring to make every change we feel would prevent this sort of thing from recurring, but, of course, we did not expect it to happen in the first place! We hope our improved efficiency and trackable progress on projects we've done since CW O2 will show our company changes.

      Look, at this point, and don't take this the wrong way, but you continue to be upset about mistakes that are long over, which seems very unhealthy, given we cannot go back in time and do anything about them.

      If you would like to email me personally, I can divulge far more information privately than I ever could publicly on Kickstarter in an update or comments.

      To be plain, your accusations aren't entirely accurate - yes mistakes were made, but you also repeatedly make it out as if we simply don't care about our backers down under, which is simply not true.

      We have lost tons of money on shipping due to all of this, as well as lots of good will, and trust me, we REALLY don't want to lose either of those things.

      So, as a very practical response - consider that it is only harmful for us the way it unrolled, as well as the way you believe we handled it.

      Feel free to email me directly at arthur at petersengames dot com and I can perhaps reveal some clarity privately, if you promise to keep it to yourself.

      My box arrived the other day. It's been so long I can't remember what I should be receiving. I had the Omega rulebook and the Library expansion. Is that correct?

      Azazel A - I'm sorry you are upset. We did learn a lot for these issue. And we are working hard so we do not make the same mistakes and to avoid the issue we had.

      Oh. And I bought EVERYTHING from CW1 and 2 (and probably would have done the same from CW3 if we weren't treated so terribly - not out of malice of course - but out of being treated as incidental and inconsequential. The debacle here has pissed me off to the point where the CW2 box is still unopened, because I get pissed off again every time I see it and now don't know if I'll ever actually play the game.

      Since you chose not to reply in any form to my post in the CW3 update, so I have no way to know if you read it:

      Arthur - here are the relevant parts of the issue as I see them:
      Firstly: shit happens. We all know that. It's the way that these things are dealt with that makes a difference.
      Instructing Aetherworks to hold on shipping AU backers their items for *several months* while we waited to see if they were in another shipping container in the US was not a nice move on your part. People were asking if you could part ship,. but the answer was a resounding "no". Apparently because (hurfblurf) reasons.
      Then, *months* later when there was *nothing in* the aforementioned US container, you decided to send the items from *somewhere else* and then instructed Aetherworks to ship what they had. So they could have part-shipped when they received the initial CW items anyway with no difference to the missing items arriving from overseas.
      Finally, the missing items seem to have been shipped to Aetherworks by ...I don't know. Raft? Sea Snail? How many months has it been now? Enough for CW3 to hype, launch, run it's course and for the PM to open and now be locked.
      That's rather ridiculous.
      See, these are not "business relationships and partners" behind these issues. It's very much your own internal choices beginning with - and most significantly with your own initial decision, and this treatment absolutely paints us as an afterthought (at best).
      If you'd instructed Aetherworks to part-ship immediately (or close enough to it) rather than sit on the shipment for literally months before just getting them to part-ship anyway because you were going to send the missing items by slow boat anyway, then I'd be annoyed but not nearly as unhappy with you as I am now and have been for months.
      I hope that provides you with a bit more context. To reiterate: Shit happens, the way it gets handled is what's telling, and what really affects my choices as a customer.
