Rogue-Like Future = Rogue-Like Past

Hello, AI Backers,

Yes, Shrapnel games still has the exclusive publishing rights. Sorry. They want thousands of dollars to buy out the physical stock. Someday, it will happen, but I'm not there yet.

Instead, I've come here this weekend to talk to you about "The Curse of Yendor", my new roguelike that just released on Steam!

It's a more traditional sword-and-sorcery RL, but still very modern and streamlined in design. Its major feature is terrain deformation: you use your magic to alter the environment, thereby solving procedurally generated puzzles and earning permanent rewards.

And here's a look at that character's amazing equipment!

So if you're in the mood for a new rogue-like experience from a trusted developer, plus you have the measly $3.99 that the game is currently on sale for, please pick up a copy of "The Curse Of Yendor" for windows today. (Also available for mac and linux on itch.io)

Thanks!

Bob

I agree with Brian. I'd help out too.

Dude, run another Kickstarter to get the rights/physical copies back. I would totally buy in to get AI on Steam so more people can play it.

Do you plan to make The Curse of Yendor available on Steam for Mac as well? I use my Mac when I travel and Windows at home. Having it on Steam is much more convenient. Since I never got a fully patched Mac version of Approaching Infinity working on the Mac, I'm a little reluctant to buy a separate Mac version of this new one.

Plus, if it isn't on Steam, I often forget about a game. I usually fire up Steam when I'm trying to decide what I want to play.

Thanks Bob! I knew I recognized that game when it popped up on my Steam suggestions this morning. I'll be buying it now. Keep up the good work!
