Dundee is a full length hip-hopera, and we are very excited to get it in front of audiences. A lot of them. Most of the money that we will be raising will be going to theater rental, but other costs include props, costumes, set design, choreographers, composers, fightmasters, and last but not least, advertising.
We are looking to hit the ground running with a full run of shows. In Chicago, it is pretty customary to have a four week run that has four shows. However, it is pretty much impossible to get critics to come out to see a show that only has four performances. To entice the critics, we are aiming to roll out with a run of 16 shows in April of 2017.
The majority of this cast has been working together for over a year now, creating new full length plays on a monthly basis. However, we're taking things a little slower to ensure a product that we think people will want to see more than once. We have been working since February on this hip-hopera, and we are willing to bet your money that we can fill these seats.

Risks and challenges
The biggest challenge that we face, as a group, is getting this show up and running by our target month of April. We have been working tirelessly on this show and have a very strong direction of where the show is going. We plan to have it completely written by January, so that we can rehearse it for the next few months. Unfortunately, everyone in the cast has a day job, so our rehearsal schedules can be a bit hectic. This time will allow us to get everything right in time for opening night.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
