Final 48(ish) hours!

We're posting a little early but we are closing in on our last 48 hours of the campaign. We have fallen off the hot list on Kicktraq so if you could help us out by clicking the link, that would be amazing! If we get back on the hotlist, we get more traffic to the campaign, and the higher chances will be to unlock the remaining stretch goals!

SLEEVES STRETCH GOAL...

Unfortunately, we must let you know that the minimum order quantity from the manufacturer is too high for us to make the travel sized box (as nice as it is and as much as we want it). We don't think there is enough interest for us to have the full order quantity made. We thank you for your input in the comments and on Facebook and your patience as we try to make the best decision possible for both us and you, our dear backers. We know how frustrating it is to see something you want and not be able to have it. Our sincerest apologies.

That being said, we believe the best option at this very moment is to watch and see if we unlock the stretch goal. If it's unlocked then we would most likely add the sleeves themselves as an add-on for non-deluxe backers. But unfortunately if we do unlock it, we don't think the stretch goal will be unlocked until the very last day, which doesn't give everyone a lot of time to increase their pledge to get the add-on sleeves. BUT do not fret! If we do get to this point, it will be an option for you to add when you enter the pledge manager if you missed it while the campaign is live.

Let's see how we do in the next 24 hours or so and see where we are at and what is the best option then. Thank you so much for your patience and support through this entire process.

PROMOS!

As Eric said in the comments, he's been playtesting the promo cards relentlessly over the last few weeks. His playtests are very thorough, (we helped!) and he makes sure that adding extra cards doesn't change the feel and balance of the game at all player counts.

Gord has been hard at work creating new artwork for the new promo cards. Here's a work in progress of the artwork for the new card "Monument". It's based off a real monument in the town of Coevorden! It's not finished but it's coming along nicely.

Work in progress! Not final!

There are so many flat-pack travel card case options out there that I'm not crushed about a custom one not being available. It looked incredible, but I'd rather spend the few extra dollars myself to not complicate your production.

      Loving the promo art :)

You have nothing to apologize for - we're backing because we're supporting you and your awesome game, not because of some optional thing that we didn't even know we'd have to begin with!

@R.J.Shutten Very cool to hear you're from Coevorden! When I was working with Fellipe Martins to create the illustrations I never planned to call the game Coevorden--though the inspiration clearly came from my dad's stories of his childhood there. Otherwise we would've definitely included the castle.

No promises but I'll look into your suggestion. We actually have a replica of the Castle in Vancouver, Canada..

Hi, game looks cool. Maybe a other Promocard could be the Castle from Coevorden, the only thing why tourist know the city. And I know because I live there ;)

Thank you for understanding, it’s a tough spot to be in. :(

I love that you actually put it out there "to the test" and made a reasoned decision based on actual interest.

That travel box with sleeves is REALLY NEAT, but this is not a gazillion-dollar project, so you have to be focused on cost/feasibility... If it happens in the PM, super; if not, the game is still amazing! :)
