I cleaned the garage... and found 10 more sketchbooks!

Thank you Sketchbook Archives collectors! We just dinged over 60k and I'm thankful about what you've done and excited about where we're going! Less than two weeks to go, and I don't want anyone to miss out on this book that might want it!

We're preparing to move a few blocks away, and as I went through my garage junk, I found a box full of sketchbooks... and they're packed with history!

One book has my first drawing of GeeKer in it which some of you have asked about. Another book has Neverhood-ish creatures in them that were done before the Neverhood was invented. There are a few pages where I worked out my character designs for Koghead and Meatus, and Rob Schrab's SCUD: Tales from the Vending Machine. My favorite page includes my early work on the vehicles and monsters from Ghostopolis! I visited Kazu Kibuishi's studio and he was showing me his packed sketchbook so I went out and bought one just like it then started drawing... Ghostopolis came out!

I posted some images below.

I also added a new donor tier at $1400 which has rare Neverhood items. There are Playstation and PC games still packed in the box. I'm also particularly proud of the Klaymen oil painting I did for the Imaginarium soundtrack cover. Tell your Terry Taylor/Neverhood friends about this one!

Very cool, is it in the Whole Shebang edition? I just started reading it last week.

My scud book was printed back in 1997 or so. I did a clay cover: http://www.scud.com/pages/books/tales3.html

Was it ever printed? If not, you should do a kickstarter for that :P

@Adam, I did NOT design SCUD! That's my friend, Rob Schrab's character. But back in the late 90s he was having friends do a few issues of Tales From the Vending Machine where we explored the Scud character. So I did a 24 page issue and my SCUD vending machine existed in hell, so a demon could hire him to kill angels. Only this particular issue was about the angel-killing SCUD who was hired by an angel to kill the devil.

THANKS!

If you put together another sketchbook, I'll buy that one, too! :-)

Once upon a time I ordered the soundtracks. I waited patiently, and after what I seem to recall was a bit of a delay, they arrived. I wuv them. I get to remember bits of the games, as well as giggle at the extra tracks. (Also, a mime singing in the shower...) The strange bit comes when shortly after I got the cds, I heard one of the tracks playing from a car as it passed me.
