I really enjoyed reading the project blog, but couldn't help being incredibly pissed off at the ridiculous demands from law enforcement over something so innocent. I suspect that may be one of the reasons you waited so long to write the summary. Nice work, and I enjoyed reading your thoughts on lessons learned.
It seems the whole thing was still kind of an adventure. I agree with James Ellis' comment. I would not consider the end result a total failure. The experience will be remembered in your family and it will be a great story to tell other friends and family for years to come. I look forward to whatever Kickstarter reward materials are made from the pledge money. You have my respect and I admire the time and effort you put into such a project. Good luck in whatever comes of it.
I wouldn't consider the end result of the Saturn V relaunch a failure. When one looks back upon the time and efforts put into this project as well as quality time spent with family and friends, the memories that were made shall never be forgotten. All the best to you and the family,Paul.
It"s been a real pleasure and a great ride.
