Crack the bank or defeat the robbers in this asymmetrical, tower defence style cooperative board game for 2-5 players!
- 1 vs Many - Modular - Asymmetrical Perfect Crime is a 1 vs. many game of building and breaking banks set in the modern day.  It’s tense, it’s gritty, it’s multilayered and it’s as authentic to real life bank robberies as we're allowed to make it.

Perfect Crime: Delivery update, final artwork received & first look at the rulebook!

Hello Perfect Crime Kickstarters!

As some of you have already guessed, progress has been a bit of mixed bag this last month.

On one hand we've all been busy completing Perfect Crime, on the other hand (& despite our best efforts) we've hit more delays and I'm sorry to say we're not going to be able to make a May delivery.

Change to Delivery Date

I've been hanging back on posting this update as I was hoping to have more (as in completed things!!!) to share by now but it's been a difficult last few weeks to be honest. Nick has had to extend his illustration completion date (we were hoping for the end of March), Ian has spent longer than planned finishing off proofing changes we needed for the cards and I've found sorting out the graphic design of the rulebook a much larger job than I was expecting.

I know this is frustrating for you all, but believe me when I say it's even more frustrating at this end, remember we were planning on having Perfect Crime completed by Christmas!

However, it's not all bad news! Perfect Crime remains a rock solid game, it's still playing like a dream & it's still looking incredible. Nick has produced more staggeringly excellent artwork & now only has 1 Valuables illustration left and needs to make adjustments to just 3 cards. From a development point of view, the rulebook is very, very, very close to being ready for proofing and the number of components we have left are vanishingly small.

So, the big question - when are you actually going to be able to play Perfect Crime? The week commencing the 21st August - you can see a google spreadsheet of the production timeline showing more detail HERE.

Rulebook Preview

Not necessarily the most exciting aspect of any board game, but the rulebook is very, very, very close to completion & is the main thing that we're now waiting on - at the moment, we have ~60% completed, but I expect to have the whole thing done & ready for proofing by the start of next week.

 Approaching Final Proof for Cards!

As mentioned, we now have the final artwork from Nick - I won't post this all at once as I want to hold something back for the next update so, without further ado, here are our final Mugshot illustrations - next week, I'll be able to show you all the exclusive promo cards you'll get - an exclusive Crew to rob with - the Hackers!!!

See Perfect Crime at the UK Games Expo

From the 2nd - 4th June we will be exhibiting at the UK Games Expo - naturally I was hoping we'd have Perfect Crime shipped and up for general sale by now, but obviously that's not possible so instead we'll be demoing Perfect Crime to everyone there =)

We'll be finalising all our promo stuff for the UKGE over the next few weeks, but for now & if you're thinking of going, let me gently point you towards THIS!

Thank you everyone for your patience (& for all the kind messages!) - I know Kickstarter projects can have a bit of a reputation for running late and I hate to add to that, but even though we are working as fast as we can, you can see quality hasn't slipped an inch it will be worth it !!!!

Shame about the delay, but glad to be kept up-to-date about changes to the schedule. Just a quick one, and I'm sure it'll get picked up at the proofing stage, but there's a typo in the rules preview, second column, under 'How to win'. Sentence should read "In Perfect Crime the aim is to end the game with the most money. Whether that money is in a Vault or in the pockets of the Robbers depends on which side you're playing". Alternatively - "In Perfect Crime the aim is to end the game with the most money, whether that money is in a Vault or in the pockets of the Robbers. This depends on which side you're playing." I think the first version is better IMO.
