AERO takes education to Soaring new heights!

Bill Nye and GameDesk truly believe that to take education to soaring new heights we need to engage children in playful and imaginative experiences. What a better way to do that then to let them fly like a bird, soar over the land and sea and learn aerodynamics while they do it!

In order to really give this kickstarter a blast of wind we have modified a bunch of our rewards and added a great one too!

  • -Get an Original AERO poster for $250!
  • -Receive a copy of the art book for $750 instead of $1,000!
  • -Let's Get this Party started! Come to the party for $1,000 instead of $1,500!
  • -We've lowered the price of real estate in the AERO world! Now you can have an island named after you for $1,000!
  • -Bring Aero to your school! We want you to have the experience of the roadshow in your school and so we've lowered the reward from $5,000 to $3,500!

We are 25% of the way there. Woohoo!

In celebration we created a nutty comedy remix of the video. ENJOY!

Bill Nye Bow Ties Now Available!

As some of you have already seen, we've added a new $60 reward tier where Bill Nye, The Science Guy will hand select a special bow tie to send you! The new reward is limited to only 100 people, so act fast! If you reside outside of the U.S. and would like to back this tier, please send us a message to make arrangements.

We're so grateful than nearly 1,000 people have backed this Kickstarter campaign! Thank you all so much. We still have a long way to go, so please share this Kickstarter on your social media account, send emails to friends, do whatever you can! It will really help us out.

Also, today on Reddit, GameDesk CEO Lucien Vattel is answer questions about the Kickstarter and education reform. So, if you have any questions that haven't been answered here, please take a moment to ask him whatever you'd like:

Android & PC Versions of AERO Now Updated!

The response to our Kickstarter campaign has been fantastic! News of the projects has appeared on NBC, MTV, Wired, Complex, TED Blog, CNet, io9, and several other publications. We're so happy to see fans of Bill Nye, The Science Guy and education innovation come forward to help us reach our goal.

Speaking of our goal, after listening to several backers we're lowing our stretch goal from $165,000 to $115,000 in order to ship to Android devices. Plus, if we reach our stretch goal of $115,000, then we'll create a PC version of the game as well!

Please note that all reward tiers above $10 will now be able to choose between the iPad and Android version of the game should we reach our stretch goal.

We can't do this without you, so please help us spread word of this campaign by linking on Facebook and Twitter, emailing your friends and family, and posting to any message boards or forums you may visit.

A huge thanks to all of our backers! If you're able, please consider increasing your pledge to help us get closer to our goal. Together, we can make a game that is both fun and educational for children all across the nation.
