Strangely is recording his first studio album! Join in the fun and help it along!
Wait, this project is fully funded already! What's up with that?
I know my project got fully funded really fast, but take a look below at my overfunding plans. There is still much and more that I can do, so please keep donating and tell all of your friends!
Who are you?
I am a circus performer who lives in a sailboat in the northwest corner of Washington state. Over the years I've done all sorts of things with the circus. I teach classes to children and adults in music, juggling, clowning and other things. Although I love any type of performance art, music has always been a particular passion of mine.
During all my travels all over the country my music has taken me to some pretty crazy places, like when my musical comedy act involved pulling a uniformed police officer up on stage during a show. But I always love making people smile, laugh and sometimes sing along.
One of the things that makes me unhappy is that I cannot always go to all the places I want, to share my music with people. To attempt to remedy that problem, I've decided that I want to record a few of my tunes at a professional studio, along with some friends and make an album. This is where all of you folks come in, see, recording an album takes money.
What are you doing with the money?
I have to rent the studio time and pay the recording engineer. I also have to transport some people and items back and forth to the studio. And then there's the pizzas I have to buy; a couple of my songs need a big group of happy people shouting along, and nothing makes folks more ready to shout along than pizza.
And then I'm going to print the CDs. I'm planning on doing this on recycled CD sleeves, because I like trees! The cases are going to be printed by hand with rubber stamps and hand lettered with fancy 0.6mm ball pointe pens.
What will you do if your project is over-funded?
I have always wanted to be on a real honest-to-goodness vinyl record. So if funding gets to about $2,000 this record will also be cut onto a *ahem* record. If that happens everyone who donates 19$ or above will have a choice of receiving a vinyl copy or a regular compact disc.
If further funding goes beyond that (“In your dreams,” I know!), I am hoping to put some of it into making a really sweet music video which will be included on a special edition dvd along with the album release. I may also put the funds toward a tour focused on my music and promoting the album. Anyone who helps fund my kickstarter can request locations for tour stops, if you put in 500 or above you're guaranteed a tour stop (some restrictions apply)!
Thanks ever so much for your time and I hope I see you real soon!
I will send you a questionnaire about all of those things that will give you the opportunity to let me know what sizes and shapes you want.

All copies will be sold directly by me, and perhaps at a certain shop I visit often on the moon. If you'd like more copies try to catch a show I'm in or set up a show in your town!
In my enthusiasm to launch the project I did not think about international shipping. So officially yes the prices do include international shipping. However if you'd like to chip in a few dollars, or pounds, or euros, or yen more that's totally up to you. Much obliged.
