My Macbook Pro was recently stolen!! :( :( :( :( As a result the money I had saved to go towards mastering costs has now gone towards buying a new laptop! This has been a huge setback. The funding money will go towards professional mastering by audio engineer Byron J. Scullin.
Art. Control. Delete. will be my first full-length album to be released by a professional independent label – Melbourne/Mexico-based Aztek Electronic Music. This is an opportunity for my music to reach a wider audience across various platforms. Artwork for the album is a unique collaboration between Mexican mural artist Manu Menedez and Italian artist Funi Nini.
Having an album professionally mastered, as opposed to independently mastering my own music, is something I have wanted to do for years but not been able to afford due to the costs involved. This is an opportunity to push my musical creation to its full potential! Art. Control. Delete. is a unique record that spans over a wide range of electronic music styles and influences, featuring instrumentation from:
Accordion – Carlos Parraga (from Melbourne pioneering electro cumbia sound system, The Cumbia Cosmonauts and gypsy deathcore extravaganza The Barons of Tang).
Vocals – Xen Havales (from Melbourne experimental rock band A Lonely Crowd).
And various other artists on Saxaphone, Trombone, Melodica, Djembe, Bell Drum, Chanting & Mouth Harp!
Emotive yet chaotic...this genre redefining album hopes to push the limits of modern experimental electronica.
