Ah, the barkeep, the backbone of the West. Has there ever been a western with a plot that would still function without the local barkeep?
Like the barkeep, this reward is the backbone of our Kickstarter. Back us at the Barkeep level, and you will receive a shiny new physical copy of the comic, hot of the presses. Well, okay, they will probably have cooled by the time they get to you. But they will still be hot, in the "damn, this comic is hot!" sort of way.
We made a mini-poster! I'm so excited. It's a 8.5 X 11 ORIGINAL image, not included in the book. And here's the really neat part: you get to choose if you want it in color or B&W. Both are pretty compelling in their own way. The B&W is more evocative of the flavor of the comic itself, but the color came out pretty amazing too. You can see both in the rewards section of the project description, to help you make up your mind. And of course, Gunslingers will also receive a print copy of the comic.
Oh, I forgot to compare this reward to its title. Um...gunslingers shoot guns, which use bullets, which are small, like mini-posters? Ugh, that's awful. Okay, gunslingers, like freelance artists, tend to work lots of short jobs with different people and get shot a lot...no, wait...
You get to be our deputy. And just like in a real western, all that means is that you get a pretty star badge and have to do extra work.
No, wait. What that *really* means here is that you get a special star badge on your copy of the comic (let's be real, it's a sticker), and a copy of the mini-poster, *plus* you get a bonus set of three print issues of Anna's webcomic, Half-Man. Bonus! That's way better then being a real deputy. And you probably won't even die first! (not a guarantee)
A Sheriff makes it possible for a frontier town to exist. Without them everything would collapse into anarchy. We rely on our generous Executive Producer level backers to make it possible for our comics to exist, and not fall into chaos.
(Sheriff = Executive Producer. I got one to make sense!)
Sheriff-level backers will get Executive Producer credit on the book. That means your name on the credit page, next to the creators! (Obviously, only for this second printing, and all future printings. I can't go back in time and add you to the first tiny test run. Although, if you have a time machine I can borrow, I'm willing to give it a shot.)
Backers at this level will also receive a print copy of the comic and the mini-poster in their choice of color or B&W.
