Dragonslayer: Chapters 1 & 2
A graphic novel about a girl, a ghost, and a dragon, and how they learned what a monster really is. Part 1 of 3.
Kate kills monsters. It’s what she does. It’s what she’s good at. It’s what they pay her for.
And then one day, deep in a cave, Kate finds something different. Something she’s never seen before. Something that will change how she feels about being a dragonslayer.
This is a story about a girl, a ghost, and a dragon, and their unexpected friendship. It's a story about monsters, and evil, and how you figure out who the bad guys are. It's a story about how one young woman finally learns that being a monster isn't about what you are, it's about what you do.
Dragonslayer is a YA fantasy graphic novel. The whole story is 6 chapters in length, each of which we plan to release as a stand-alone, 22 page issue. Chapter 1 is already complete and ready to ship! We're eager to get to work on Chapter 2, just as soon as this campaign reaches its goal.
The money we raise with this campaign will go towards 1. paying the fantastic Lee Milewski for his amazing artwork, 2. lettering Chapter 2, and 3. printing and distribution costs for both Chapters 1 & 2.
We are so excited to make this story happen with your help.

Risks and challenges
We have a great team assembled for this project, and we are all really excited to get to work on the next chapter. We've already done one chapter, so we know the production challenges that we're facing and that we can overcome them.
The biggest risk right now is that even if we manage to fund Chapters 1 & 2, we might not be so lucky with Chapters 3 & 4. We want to see this project through to the end, but funding will be a challenge every step of the way. We are committed and ready to do our part. Now we just need your help to make this book a reality.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
