No they are not water proof. I want to add an option of a silicone sleeve that would stretch over the tubes making them water proof but that's for another project! In most cases its important that the tubes "breath" to let out moisture so the contents do not rust.
Once again no... not at this time. I can add the option at a later date by molding them in FDA grade plastics and in certified molding machines. The plastics I use are very clean and I personally would eat out of them... but that's just me!
ElectroStatic Discharge compliance can be accomplished by molding them in an ESD grade poly-carbonate. The parts have slightly reduced clarity but still will perform well. I plan on offering this as an option in the future for manufacturers and the electronics industry.
