From Dreams... To Reality!
This is an alternate reality in which the timeline of the Earth is the same as our own, at least up until the year 2000. Due to a series of seemingly random events which culminated with the coming of the Mist in 2006, our world has been reintroduced to the magic of old and to the reality of psionics. The presence of these forces has caused the political and societal structures of the world to change in order to accommodate, embrace, or reject the new groups of people who can now tap into the renewed concepts of Magic and Psionics: the animal-like Altered, the subtle magic-using Dreamers, the technologically-inclined and psionically-aware Technos, the covert and manipulative Psions, the power-crazed Mages, and the fortuitous and willful Unaffected.

We're working on pushing out the final-final(-final) edition of our rulebook, and we need your help to get it done. Maybe you've played our game at cons, or maybe you've accidentally found us as you were surfing the interwebs; either way, you know we are awesomely fun and obviously need help.
Reality A Games was tentatively founded in 2006, when three people made the creator, Herbie Hicks, play the game everyday - for a year. The system and modules have been play-tested since 2009, and the first edition of the rulebook was finished in 2008 and now that we've gone through it with a fine-tooth comb, we're ready to put out the rulebook that our fans have been clamoring for; YOU'RE WELCOME.
The first convention we attended was DragonCon in 2009; we've also been to MegaCon two years in a row, and after a fantastic first year at Origins Game Fair, we'll be returning again this year for another amazing show. With fans across the country (HOLLA, OHIO!), we look forward to finally being able to give our wonderful fans the rulebook they deserve.
The system is percentiles based, with combat running mostly on d6s.
To purchase add-ons, simply increase your pledge by an amount equal to the items you wish to receive. After the Kickstarter ends, you will be receiving a survey to clarify the contents of your order.

Risks and challenges
The outlined project of this kickstarter is to get the Core Rulebook and System out to the general public and gain a greater following. Our core supporters are fantastic and loyal; we want to share the load so to speak. The first challenge is to finalize the book and get copies out there; we've done that digitally. The art and contents had taken the longest to finalize, with playtesters demonstrating new and undreamt-of ways to "break" the system. Balancing the Types and the Magic/Psionics took a bit of chicanery, but we're satisfied that we can go forward.
We have a reliable distributor, and the final draft of the book. We're mostly using this process to increase the audience and gauge interest in a possible new stage of development: Modules and Expansions.
