Feed Your Crazy - Fitness Motivation
A new twist on fitness motivation. People call you crazy because you run, lift, crossfit, or ride for fun? Embrace it, feed it.
Our story started simple. I loved to run, and people called me crazy for it. A violent assault left me struggling, and I found health again in training hard. After a while I got tired of trying to justify myself, excuse the fact that I liked to train, or try to rationalize my behavior to the vast majority of the world. My wife Ricki, and cofounder, is a kickboxing instructor and fitness coach. With the help of some fellow crazy friends we set out to create a new fitness brand that embraced the label of crazy, and make it our own.
We started with a handful of stickers, then a box of shirts. We recently partnered with an amazing manufacturer of technical athletic gear, Pearl Izumi for a set of Feed Your Crazy(TM) running singlets and tech-t.
When we talk about Feed Your Crazy at the gym, at a local race, with crossfitters, strong men, triathletes, and gym rats we come in contact with, they get it. We've all been there. Hit an awesome workout, try to explain it to someone who doesn't train, and their response? You're crazy.
Here's the problem. We're just a small shop, trying to build a big idea. We've been printing small orders of shirts just to cover local demand, and the Pearl Izumi tech gear was all preorder. We're scraping by. We need to get some new designs printed, new products (hats, hoodies) and in a big enough quantity that we can build some momentum. You're not just funding a tshirt design, you're helping us build our dream, and becoming part of our community. Our crazies are the coolest people out there. We are runners, cyclists, crossfiters, strong men, gym rats, triathletes, hikers, walkers .... you get the picture. If you love to be up and active, you qualify.

All of the designs are conceptual, and actual rewards may vary slightly. We'll keep you in the loop, and ask your opinion if we need to change something.
Here are the t-shirt designs for this go around. All of our shirts are a super soft, tri blend fabric. Slightly athletic cut, these shirts have a super nice shape to them. You can see in the slideshow below, we've had great success with this shirt, available in mens and womens gender specific sizes/cuts. Womens tanks are the same great fabric.
Our hat designs this go around.
Some of our past gear, and our good friends around the globe.
Risks and challenges
Risks? The biggest risk is not getting funded. We've had a lot of success, and people are interested in what we have to offer. We'd hate to get a lot of you all pumped up about being a part of the Feed Your Crazy community, only to fall short on our goal.
We've established a relationship with an awesome local printer, we use high quality products. Check us out on Facebook and ask our fans, they love the gear.
We're opening this thing up to international fans. And that is complicated. But the digital space, and social media is a powerful thing. We've starting to gather fans in far reaches of the world including Canada, Australia, Finland, and more.
