Our goal was to make a creative tool that was simple, elegant, functional, and easy to use. We wanted a tool that was attached to us without even knowing it was there until we needed to use it. It needs to be compact and compatible with one of the most important creative tools next to your writing utensil, your sketchbook.
We know how quickly ideas come and go, and how creatives need to put down their ideas on paper as soon as it hits them. That's where imbue comes in to aid your creative mind to quickly draw up your idea.
We decided to rethink how people use drafting tools on the go. Imbue takes your large cumbersome drafting tools and compacts them into their most essential form. By asking numerous creatives which of their tools they used the most, helped us decide what tools we wanted to incorporate into Imbue.
Imbue is a creative tool made for creatives like yourself.
Attention is in the Detail
From far away Imbue looks like a simple ruler that can make the straightest lines, but once you get closer you can see the specifically placed markings and all the details that make this the perfect tool for anything creative.

Made in the USA
We wanted to make sure we could get the quality our backers deserve. What better way to support local business and monitor the quality of Imbue than manufacturing in the USA. We found local machine shops and metal anodizing shops that can deliver the quality that we are proud of. Here are all the locations we will be using locally to manufacture your creative tool.
Who we are
Graduating together in 2011 from Columbus College of Art and Design together Igor & Steve have 6 years total of real world experience in the product design field, working with multimillion dollar companies. Today they both work together at a local design firm in Columbus, OH.
Risks and challenges
We have done our extended research on how long each step of our process will take to get to the final Imbue creative tool. All our production will be done within a 20 mile radius minus our packaging which will be printed with Jenex graphics in Long Island city, New York & our custom debossed moleskines which will be made with Jennibick book binding in West Tisbury, Massachusetts. This will allow us to have great control on our timeline leaving little room for problems, as we can deal with the issue in person.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
