Kickstarter delivery on the final stretch
The entire Mellow Team has been at a week-long major team meeting and retreat, getting our heads together to solve issues and nail down strategies for the months to come.
We've been responding to only the most urgent calls and emails during this time and will catch up with all other inquiries as soon as possible.
This is the first time we've had so many Mellows in the same place, so we took them to the roads, trying out awesome early versions of the Endless Mode and 4WD acceleration. Some of us took it easy and just cruised, soaking up the nice vibes.
Speaking of soaking: the steady rain has forced us to postpone our Launch Party and Group Ride, originally scheduled for this Saturday, 1 July. If you hadn't been able to attend this event, you'll definitely want to keep your eyes open for the future date.
Our shipping expeditor received the new supply of Battery Packs at the beginning of the week and is busy prepping and packing the remaining Kickstarter Drives.
Unfortunately, the recent ransomware cyber-attack "Petya" that crippled global corporations also hit TNT, the FedEx subsidiary that we use. No customer data was breached, but their logistics ground to a halt.
We are attempting to minimize effects on our backers and stay in the two-week window announced last week by working hard with them to get all remaining Kickstarter shipments out during next week.
