A short Spaghetti Western influenced by Sergio Leone (The Man With No Name Trilogy) and his contemporaries.

Influenced by the old Spaghetti Westerns of the 1960's and modeled after the stylistic flare of Sergio Leone, "The Last Day's Rise" is the first short in an intended trilogy/collection. All money raised on Kickstarter will go towards post production and festival costs.

Set in Southern Oregon during 1873, "The Last Day's Rise" tells the (short) story of a bounty hunter tracking his next target, but finding a young, mute girl in the middle of nowhere.

This story sets up the events for "The Last Night's Fall", scheduled to be shot in Summer 2012.

Generous contributions are difficult to come by in hard economic times, but it is people like you who show that money will never be that which hinders art and creativity. : )

The video above is the opening credits. Music for 2D Colorsonic made by the talented Kevin MacLeod.

You get my eternal thanks. After all, a dollar gets you a delicious cheeseburger these days, but you gave it to me instead.

You get a DVD of the movie with a special little note just for you. And no, not a cheap "here's a disk scribbled with sharpie" kind of DVD, but one just a bit nicer than that. : )

Not only do you get the DVD as mentioned above, but now, you also get a nifty t-shirt and small movie poster. In a frame. One that you can put on your desk next to your wife, husband, or dog.
