Mid-April General Update

While I've done a handful of targeted updates to backers looking forward to specific rewards, I haven't done a general update recently, so here we go!

First, folks expecting just the eBook reward or the wallpaper reward should have received their purchases a few weeks back, and a targeted message about them. If you think you're in that category and haven't seen anything, drop me a line, of course.

I'm just about geared up for starting to produce prints, having stocked up on ink, paper, print bags, and some backing board to hold the print flat, and I'm looking forward to going into production mode.In the last couple days I've sent out surveys for who are expecting individual print rewards. If you're not sure, and you need time, don't worry about rushing to answer this, I'll be trying to keep a full spreadsheet of those rewards, and if you'd like to wait a week, a month or a year, I'll be glad to honor it, of course!  It's a big decision, and there are a *lot* of options. (Also, if you have any special requests with regard to the prints, please drop me an email, I'll be happy to help if I can.)

The small (5x7 in. pages) physical book reward is a couple weeks behind schedule at this point. I got a note just today that my "test run" book shipped, I hope to have that in my hands next week, and either decide at that point to adjust it and do another test run, or to authorize the full print run. I apologize for the delay, but it's important to me that the book be right. I will keep you informed on the progress there. Those of you looking forward to the book+release party, I'll be scheduling that after I'm sure I know when I'll have books in hand, nothing would be more embarrassing than a book release without a book.  (This happened to me in 2006 with "Signatures of the Sun", a reason I avoid one particular vendor to this day.)

Finally, I have to thank you again for the opportunity you all gave me to spend a month living, working, creating in Iceland. It was an incredible experience, and I hope that you can see just how much you've helped my work with your backing. I am deeply humbled and appreciative--thank you.
