Welcome to the Amazons of See Kickstarter!
The purpose of this project is to introduce you to the Amazons of See, through sets of multipart metal miniatures and raise funding for further planned units in Kickstarters to come.
Moulding and mould testing has already been completed for all the miniatures advertised below and casting time has been booked. Rewards will ship 2 weeks after the Kickstarter ends so expect to receive your miniatures in June 2019!
The 'Amazons of See' are a war-like race comprised seemingly solely of women. Encountered within the endless swathes of the Great Jungle, it is said they guard their ancient metal and stone dwellings with fanatical secrecy. Rare encounters with the Amazons are nearly always hostile. At the heart of their civilisation is their Goddess, 'The Eternal See'. See is a giant being with fearsome magical powers that can bend nature and the elements to her will. Through her high priestesses, her power can be manifest in battle with devastating effect.
Although fearsome in hand to hand combat, the Amazons of See will frequently use the Great Jungle as a cover and a weapon. Many an interloping party has been shadowed until the difficult terrain provides the perfect circumstances for a devastating ambush!
(At the end of this section and continuing through the Kickstarter page is a short story by David Stafford, chronicling one of the Amazons of See's victories - I hope you enjoy it!)
This first 'Amazons of See' Kickstarter focuses on some of the core foot troops of the Amazon race; Warriors, Archers, Priestesses and Acolytes. Depending on the projects success, further campaigns will see War Machines, Cavalry, Beast Handlers, Specialised units and Ancient Tech 'Future Weapons'. During the campaign there may be updates on newly commissioned miniatures but to keep delivery time of rewards in June 2019, the new miniatures won't be available until the next Kickstarter.
03/06/19 update - a little something extra. I have added some 'Conquistadwarves' and Armoured Dwarves as potential adversaries for your Amazons. These can be found in the Add ons, Miniatures & Gallery sections.
Sculpted by Geoff Solomon-Sims and professionally moulded and cast in white metal by Macrocosm, these miniatures were designed and sculpted with an oldhammer aesthetic.
The miniatures aspire to form the core of an Amazon force. Using multipart models you can add greater variation to your army through the addition of multiple sets.
All of the miniatures are supplied unpainted and do not come with bases. Each set contains more than enough weapon and head sprues to accomodate the figures. The 'Force of See' pledge (1 of each set in the Kickstarter) actually comes with extra head and weapon sprues... still not enough?! Extra weapons and heads are available as 'Add ons'.

Risks and challenges
As mentioned earlier in the campaign, the moulds have already been made and tested for this project and casting time has been booked.
The only potential risks I can ascertain would be due to personal illness or delays in casting. In the unlikely event of either of these, it would simply delay dispatch.
