To those that have pledged

There are some changes about to take place. Moon Quest is being converted into a short film. This began with Brad and I attempting to be smart and prepared (and all of those other positive character traits) by fashioning ourselves up a Plan B. But those thoughts ended up being way smoother than we had initially anticipated, and in thinking them, the concept of condensing what we have into a very concise 30-40 minute short film turned out to be the best way to go.

Yes, this is us scaling back our grand vision a bit--reaching the $10,000 goal not looking incredibly realistic at this point. But the short is certainly not a consolation. We genuinely came to understand how the film could work better this way. The original shot at a feature was mostly a result of us not wanting to restrain our ambitions prematurely. To press onward too relentlessly though would turn this entire production into a rotten allegory for the delusion featured in the film. Apollo couldn't have existed without Mercury and Gemini. (No animals will be burned up in the atmosphere during the making of this film.)

Tomorrow we will be canceling funding for this kickstarter campaign and launching the new one with a budget of $1500. We would love to retain your support, so please, check it out. Rewards will be the same for the most part. We're over halfway there if everyone is willing to make the jump, and that would be amazing for the project.

Thanks

Dustin and Brad
