About this project
The title Spookiz comes from the word “spooky” and “kids”.
Every night at school when all the kids are gone and empty, these monsters creep out of their hideouts along with unexpected events and happenings.
The five characters: Frankie (Frankenstein), Zizi (Zombie), KongKong (Chinese ghost), Cula (Dracula), and Kebi (Goblin) are all very unique in their own colors, powers, and personalities. However, in the chaos and madness, they form a strong bond and sympathy, ultimately understanding each other and continuing on their unending adventure in school.
About the Project
Spookiz is the first project created by Keyring. It is a nonverbal slapstick comedy shorts, where each episode is only a minute and a half long, therefore, the viewers can easily understand and enjoy the content on-the-go. The first few episodes of Spookiz is aired on Korean public transportations (G Bus), and we are still in the process of making our upcoming episodes.
Currently we are working on episode 15. At this rate, we will finish creating 26 episodes by the end of this year as we initially planned. However, we felt that the quantity wasn’t enough to make a strong impact. To make it viral and hear the response from the audience, we decided to extend it to a total of 52 episodes, which means nine more months of intense production. And to keep it going, we had to find a way to raise our funds.
Along with some original Spookiz episodes, we are planning on doing parody episodes as well!
So now, we would like to invite you to an opportunity to be involved in the film, right from the start. Your support will help us further advance our production and complete Spookiz Season 1.
There are many ways to contribute, and even a small pledge will mean a lot to us!
Kickstarter is an 'ALL-OR-NOTHING' fundraise. That means, backers will be charged for a pledge and receive the rewards after the project reaches its funding goal.
Make sure to check out all the details about the rewards on the side of this page.

Who We Are
Keyring is based in South Korea, found in 2013. It is a new, growing company, with a team of passionate, talented young artists from all over the world, who are challenged to create and develop high quality projects through multiple media platforms. We handle every step of the 3D animation process from visual and story development to final post. Not just investing in the number of projects complete, quality is what we value the most. We focus on one project at a time, going through multiple reviews and adjustments to offer the most creative and original product.
Risks and challenges
After our project is successfully funded, our goal is to produce three episodes per month. Yet, any delays in keeping up the pace are possible risks and challenges. The animation process can be very complicated at times, having animators require for more time. Stories can get rejected and push back the entire process sometimes.
If any of these setbacks do arise, we plan to overcome such difficulties through marketing, exhibitions, and collaborating with other merchandising projects. This will provide more funds and buy us extra time to keep going and complete the entire Season.
There are more than 30 people's hard work put into Spookiz, that's a team of more than 30 of strong backers behind this project to begin with! It is highly unlikely for us to change our minds about our initial plans or ideas in the process. We will try our best to make it successful!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
