ONE WEEK LEFT!
Thank you all for your help in not only reaching our goal, but also reaching BOTH of our Stretch Goals. Because of you this project is going to be the absolute best it can be. We just can not WAIT to share it with you!
We have ONE WEEK LEFT! Please know that every donation made to this project past our Stretch Goals will go towards producing future issues of Penguins Vs. Possums. It makes us so happy that beyond sending out the Trade, we will be sending each and every one of our Backers a digital copy of Issue #5. We hope you will love our story as much as we do!
Please help spread the word to your friends that time is running out to secure your very own copy of PENGUINS VS. POSSUMS : Volume 1

WE DID IT!
Thanks to all of our generous backers, we have exceeded our funding goal! That doesn't mean this is the end. We have STRETCH GOALS in place with additional rewards planned for all of our backers.
STRETCH GOAL #1: Professional Masthead. GOAL MET!
Logos are hard. Believe us, we've tried. While we've always been satisfied with the look of the text on the covers of Penguins Vs Possums, we've always felt that we could use something more polished to really help our comic stand out. For $3250, we will have a masthead created which will debut on the trade paperback!
STRETCH GOAL #2: Penguins Vs Possums #5. $4,000.
The trade paperback comprises only the first half of the Penguins Vs Possums saga. After the release of the trade, we will start work on Issue Number Five, which will be the beginning of the end of this particular story. If we meet this stretch goal, we will use the funds for the production and publishing of Issue Five. The best part is, if this goal is reached, we will send each of our backers, regardless of donation level, a digital copy of the comic!
A little over two years ago, we launched a Kickstarter campaign to make our childhood dreams a reality by publishing our very own comic book:
Our original Kickstarter video from October 2011. Look how far we've come!
The campaign was a success! We have since been able to self produce four issues of "Penguins Vs. Possums" and are now ready to take the next big step. We would like to use the funds raised here to put those four issues into trade paperback form! When we started this project, we never imagined we would be able to take it this far. Seeing all of our hard work in an actual trade, the kind we love to buy from our favorite comic book stores, would make our dreams come true!
To do this, we have revamped the first issue, adding beautiful grayscales to the black and white art as well as re-lettering it to bring it up to our current standards. This "remastering" of the first issue has taken it to an all-new level, and we can't wait to share it with all of you!
Up until this point, we have kept our print runs of our issues very low. We have done a great deal of research into printers for the trade and want to be able to produce it with a high level printing standard. To do so, we will need to print a very large run. The funds raised here will go towards the printing costs of the trade paperback, which will also feature some exclusive behind-the-scenes content as well as all-new Penguins Vs. Possums pinups!
Risks and challenges
Among the few risks of printing a trade paperback in large quantities is distribution, so we plan on contacting larger distributors in order to get the comic in stores across the country.
Our greatest risk upon success of this Kickstarter is that we will be buried alive in hundreds and hundreds of copies of our trade. We believe the community will want to be a part of what we have to share! Publishing the trade is only the beginning. Our endgame is for people all over the world to CHOOSE A SIDE!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
