Pro Pinball: Timeshock! - The ULTRA Edition

Silverball Studios have now joined forces with Barnstorm Games and we'll be launching a 'Pro Pinball: Timeshock!- The ULTRA Edition' Kickstarter just as soon as we can. In the meantime, here's a WIP shot with all the ambient light turned off (you'll be able to do this in the final game too), which shows off the lamps and general illumination to the max.

Hope you like it!

Guys the total lack of any sort of updates, news, anything in general is going to damage this new kickstarter. I can't think of any reason why a company working on a title like this where we the backers have asked for news would be denied. I can't see any positives for that and I'm sure many will agree. Nearing 1 month since the last person commented and nobody has officially answered? I want this as much as anyone but the PR is a joke.

Well, that's some good news! Any approximate timeframe? Within the next 3 months? 6 months?

    3. DirkZ on April 19, 2013

      Great news!

    4. Chris on April 17, 2013

      Cant wait. Go Pro-Pinball Go!

Good idea to reboot this Kickstarter project, with a smaller goal.

Get Timeshock modernized, get it out on all modern platforms (including apps for tablets/phones).

If that's successful, get the other 3 tables modernized similarly, using the same engine, so then you'll have a complete set of all 4 classic Pro Pinball tables.

If that's successful, then at that point, start thinking about making a new table....

Bring on the Cabinet Version and will pledge my heart out to this project!!

Really looking forward to this game, please keep the original soundtrack, or make it available as an alternative (like they did with monkey island special edition).
      Rock on!

I eagerly await the return of Pro Pinball. There has been a shortage of professionally made PC pinball games.

Looks great! Excited this is getting a second chance on here.

    10. Basile Grammaticos on April 15, 2013

Fabulous, just fabulous! I can't wait to get my hands on this sim.

    11. Josh Jertberg on April 15, 2013

Now that's what I"m talking about! Other pin simulations may have the licensed tables, but the art is sorely lacking. A pinball machine is a great opportunity for talented 3d visual artists, so many textures and lighting opportunities. Real 3d dynamic lighting! not simple texture swaps. Is that not one of the amazingly appealing things about a pinball machine? the lighting. This looks exciting guys, thanks for not giving up, good luck!

Yeah. Shoot Again !! Bring on that cabinet version. I will pledge again and I wish you much success.

Like the other poster said: Keep it simple without a lot if conflicting tiers.

Great news! I was eagerly anticipating this re-Kickstarted project, hope it starts soon for real. I'll go now and post this news on pinballarcadefans if it didn't happen already. Also offcourse, main hangouts for pinheads like me... :)

What platforms will your tables be available on? Take my money now! I'm ready to play.

    15. Robert Soper on April 15, 2013

      That's just gorgeous!

    16. Johannes Henninger on April 15, 2013

Glad this project is still active. Can't wait for the kickstarter.

      Take my money plz!

    17. Maggus on April 15, 2013

Nice! I recently bought Fantastic Journey on GOG even though I have already the CD version for comfort (din't need the CD anymore) and to make some sort of "statement" - the show must go on!!!

    18. Silverball Studios Creator on April 15, 2013

@Nik Barbour: Yes, we'll be supporting Android from the start.
@S.D.: We hope to support Linux from the start, should be able to say for sure soon.
@Martin Kašpar: Yes, we'll be providing a cabinet specific view and multiple monitor support.

OOOH! Shiny! Now let's have a "ball's eye" view...

    21. Craig Grannell on April 15, 2013

Great to know. Just please keep it simple this time, rather than having loads of conflicting tiers and ones subsequently added that actually encourage people to lower their pledges.

    22. Martin Kašpar on April 15, 2013

Main question is would it support cabinet mode? We still dont have any good pinball sim with cabinet support and 2 / 3 monitor support.

    23. Sascha Michael Trinkaus on April 15, 2013

Looks amazing guys. Now make it real!

    24. S.D. on April 15, 2013

Man, it looks sooo good!!! Can't wait for the Linux version :-)

    25. Nik Barbour on April 15, 2013

      Very nice!
Will this be available for Android?
