My shipment arrived in Ontario Canada this week. Perfect condition and zero fees. Thank you USPS / Canada Post!

@Jason.. the blog re: self clearing your items with UPS could come in very handy sometime, thanks but usually just sending through the mail works great and you only occasionally get hit with some extra duty charges. Often they simply don't get spot checked.

    5. John Burt on October 17, 2012

And I was almost correct. It arrived yesterday

My package arrived today in Toronto - about a week after it appeared in local stores, but I got my bonuses and Canada Customs didn't intervene. Boy, it's an impressive product, particularly when the expansions are packed into the new box.

I backed this project (game + 2 extensions) even if i hadn't played it before. After playing a couple of games I must say the game is awesome! The dynamic of the game is really cool and every game is different. Good job guys. Thanks for this great game! :)

I received my package yesterday. Planning to sleeve all the cards before start playing. I'm planning to use FFG sleeves, but not sure if they fits the cards or not. Any suggestion?

    14. Kato Katonian on October 2, 2012

So far my rewards looks great. Love the box and especially the divider cards.
I did notice, however, that my instruction manual for Infernal Relics has missing/duplicate pages. In mine, 6 and 7 are printed again on page 8 and 9.

Just wondering if you had thought about converting this game to the digital realm - I think it would be wildly succesful as a multiplayer app for PC, Android or Iphone. The digital market currently doesn't have any CO-OP TCGs. I love the game.

    17. GreaterThanGames 12-time creator on September 21, 2012

There are a small number of games with that issue. Send me an email at with your address and we'll send you replacements asap.

    18. Joah on September 21, 2012

Some of my cards are larger than the others in the RA deck. Is this across the board or could i get replacements?

    19. H. Jameel al Khafiz on September 21, 2012

I had to put mine into the box diagonally, and just barely gout them in. Penny sleeves and 1st edition base set. Any thicker sleeves, and there's no way it would have fit.

Got my shipment today. It's like Christmas going through the box of Sentinels goodies!

    21. medsas on September 21, 2012

Wait a minute, you use FedEx for Canadian shipping? This is a big problem... customs brokerage fees mean we're going to have to pay around 50% of the declared value at the delivery... anyway to change the shipping to USPS international?

I got my box yesterday. I love the new cards, but I'll admit my sleeved cards can't fit in the new base box without bending, which defeats the purpose of both the sleeves and/or the box. I'm not quite sure if I want to go sleeves for the better organization, or go with the sleeves to increase the lifespan of the cards.

    27. Eric Weidus on September 20, 2012

Just got everything into the new box. Wow, what a difference. Honestly the only reason this game didn't hit the table more often was the pain of resorting the cards. Now with everything so organized, it's going to be so much more enjoyable of an experience. Thanks!

Just found out that a friend of mine (who is in Seattle on his *honeymoon*... and going to PAX) has picked up all my swag and gotten it signed for me. I hadn't asked him to do it, and I didn't let the >G guys know that someone would be picking up my stuff. I had thought that you guys would be better off to sell the limited stock you have and ship my stuff to Australia later, rather than the other way around.
Just want to put a thank you out there to the guys. Can't wait to be playing the new editions!

      on July 28, 2012

Would it be possible to upgrade my 1st edition upgrade to a full second edition game? I will be picking up my stuff at Gen Con, if that makes it any easier.

    38. GreaterThanGames 12-time creator on July 23, 2012

At Gen Con, we will have the Rook City Wraith card available for Sentinels Points, as described in our Gen Con update. We will also have a promo version of Ra and Fanatic. However, Young Legacy is pretty much gone now! We have a tiny tiny handful of her left, which we will be using for contests, such as our Gen Con Costume Contest.

    39. John Burns on July 21, 2012

      Hey Paul,
Are the first two promo cards still for sale (Rook City Wraith and Young Legacy)? I saw they were available at Gen Con, and at Origins you had to purchase Rook City (which I already owned) to get Wraith. Thanks for any information!

So it looks like I'll have moved to a new place by the time my copy of Sentinels arrives. How do I go about changing the address I've given you?

    42. GreaterThanGames 12-time creator on July 18, 2012

If people want USPS shipping, it can be done, but, just to warn you, it will be a several week delay, both due to increased shipping time, and to the increased difficulty for us in dealing with USPS vs FedEx. We also cannot guarantee that USPS will not loose your package (they've lost several things from us in the past).

I will definitely switch anyone who is interested over to USPS if you send me a PM through the Kickstarter system. However, USPS shipments will be at the "end of the line" after all the FedEx shipments go through.

    43. John Burt on July 18, 2012

All Canadians would prefer USPS, FEDEX/UPS add $20+ for bringing it across the border, USPS/Canada Post may charge taxes, and it is not like I need the game immediately.

    44. Christian Daigle on July 17, 2012

@Paul It would be nice if you would ship via USPS for every Canadian backer (including myself)! UPS and fedex are a pain when it comes to crossing borders ($$$).

    45. GreaterThanGames 12-time creator on July 17, 2012

@Maria I can definitely use USPS (thought it will take quite a bit longer to arrive).

Also, we unfortunately can't specify our shipments as Gifts legally (because, legally, they are products sold via pre-orders)

    46. Missing avatar

      Maria O'Loughnan on July 15, 2012

@jjc I just phoned them, obviously angry, and they dropped the extra fee (I think they removed their whole fee but I had another similar one happen with UPS since then and they only cut half their $30! fee, I'm not sure now whether they removed the entire fee or just reduced it). The trouble is they said they would remove/reduce it 'just this time' implying that if I get another of these I would have to not accept the shipment if I don't agree to the fee. As if that's even possible! The time with SotM they left the package at my door and sent me a bill in the mail! I asked Paul to not use Fedex again but Rook City came that way too, luckily that one only had a listed value of $20 instead of the $40 for the base game, so I guess it was not subject to any taxes. Seems to me that USPS gets stopped and charged less frequently (random I guess) where the courier companies have an agreement to collect for the govt so they do it as a matter of course and pass on a hefty fee for the trouble to us.

Speaking of such things I've also noted other project creators here stating that the packages are "gifts" on the customs forms, since they are classed here as "rewards" and gifts should not incur fees as far as I know.

      jjc on July 14, 2012

@Maria: I too am in Canada and am now worried about getting slammed with additional fees. Any suggestions for dealing with Fedex should it come to that?

    48. Missing avatar

      Maria O'Loughnan on July 11, 2012

Hi Paul, When you are shipping my package to Canada will you please just use USPS? Fedex are terrible, they ding you with extra fees for the sake of collecting the measly few bucks of Canadian taxes, then they have the nerve to charge more tax on their fees. It's ridiculous! When I got the first package of SotM they charged something close to the cost of the game itself. I got their fees removed but can't count on them repeatedly doing so.
