The all new, "Hallucinatory Deck of Playing Cards" has been the craziest deck we have ever created. The original idea was born after reading corny comments around the internet that would say how someone's "eyes were bleeding" or maybe "burning" because they had seen a deck of cards that wasn't to their "liking". So we set out to create a deck to do just that, MAKE YOUR EYES BURN! This deck makes the lame comments about someone's eyes burning, "worthwhile". Instead of just burning though we wanted to create something that was kind of hard to look at because of how psychedelic it was too. You know, maybe make you a little dizzy or nauseated along with your eyes burning. Well here you go! READ 'EM AND WEEP BABY!
Our endeavor to create a totally wild deck of "Hallucinatory Playing Cards" has been a blast. Pipes, bar codes, patterns, googly eyes, AHHHH, the longer we worked on the project the more our eyes would BURN. The more our eyes would burn, the more the good vibes would roll. mmm mmm mmm
Get your eyes close enough to the card, stare at it for 30 seconds and then look at a white wall and you'll get a totally gnarly "hallucinating" affect. Doesn't work as good from your computer or phone screen though.

Wow, a little off the hook, but much better. I just stared in to this abyss of cards and now my eyes hurt so bad that I wanted to poke them out. The idea shown above was when the cards were a complete uncut sheet. They would all intertwine and flow together as one BIG organized mess that would like, totally mess with your mind, you know what I mean dude?
Oh, oh, wait, I've gotta take another break..........
Above is what the same cards look like after they have been cut and you can still totally join the cards together to wig out your mind even more. To the point that your eyeballs fall out and start bouncing around on the table in front of you. Gross me out.
All right, so we've got the card faces to be totally freakish and now we had to get the card backs jivin' right along. So we used the same crazy patterns that will blend the face cards with the flip side to create deep, black holes and several googly eyes that are like, BAM, all up in your face! You know, cause its always fun when your eyes are spazzin out and stuff.

Huh, what, oh, who said people collect different types of, why, um where am I? Oh! So yeah, the deck is crazy and pretty whacked out, but if you really want to lay a gasser you've got to check this next, IN YOUR FACE, part out!

If you scroll down further your eyes may go all psychedelic on you. This is a quick shot of all 4 jokers scrolling fast....well, fast depending on if you have shick internet connection or not. So if you think you can dig it then get down with it. Otherwise, don't have a cow because we are like totally geeked out on this!
YOU WERE WARNED!
Okay, as if your eyes weren't burning enough already, you also have this next option. You can also back one of our Hallucinatory Decks of Cards with GLOW-IN-THE-DARK ink! Oh yeah, "Good Night" and turn out the lights but somebody better wake John-Boy up because this is so tubular.
So...along with our normal, eye burning deck of "Hallucinatory Playing Cards" you can also mellow out and pledge to get one of these mondo cool decks where the YELLOW ink will actually GLOW-IN-THE-DARK! Now how neato is that? Yes, we said it right. The yellow part of the cards GLOWS in the dark. No black light needed!

Now how, "to the max" is that! You can take your "out of this world" deck of cards and like totally freak people out. Even better yet, can you imagine how rad the uncut sheet will be hanging on your wall? People will be tripin' big time! They'd be like all poppin' a wheelie to get over to your house so their eyes can bug out and bleed too.

Now try to imagine how the uncut sheet will look. The normal deck looks pretty wild, but the uncut sheet for the GLOW-IN-THE-DARK version is pretty crazy. Here is a view of the uncut with the lights on.
Can you imagine hanging this bad boy hanging on your wall? Especially when it GLOWS! Oh my.
LIMITED EDITION "PSYCHEDELIC DUO"
Introducing our "RAD RED" and "MELLOW YELLOW" Limited Edition decks we dubbed the "Psychedelic Duo". Each of these decks will be limited to 50 decks of each and are ONLY available as a set. We had originally thought about printing more of these but decided to back down and keep it more collectible. Just add the amount you want to your current pledge and let us know at the end. These will NOT be glow decks but they still hold true to the eye hurting value. CAUTION: They still may make you a little nauseated.
Please Note: YOU MUST be a backer of the $21 or higher to be eligible for the Limited Edition decks.
So if you're looking for something a little calmer, these may be it as the colors on these LIMITED EDITION decks are more of a monochrome design instead of the bright ones on the original deck. Remember, you must order both sets to get these and they are limited printing of 50 sets. If we sell less, we will only be printing what we need for backers here on KS. So there may not even be 50 sets of these bad boys!

PLEASE NOTE: For all of the GLOW-IN-THE-DARK decks the glow ink will be on the card faces, card backs and the tuck box. The only thing that changes with the stretch goals will be how many different colors we use.
The normal, non-glow deck and the LIMITED EDITION decks will remain the same but more stretch goals may be added later.
-- ABOUT THE CARDS --
Yep, the cards will be printed in China. You know the country where playing cards originated from? I know some believe you can't get good quality cards from there, but you can like totally get good stuff from there. The companies we've been using for a few years now do an awesome job for us. We're not against the US companies and we'd love to do it here when we can, but sadly most are either not interested in small quantities or they can't do GLOW-IN-THE-DARK ink.
Here are basic details of the decks:
- 12pt stock
- Block out core, little thicker because of ink
- 56 cards per deck (52 Normal, 4 Jokers)
- Poker Size (2-1/2 x 3-1/2)
- Matte, Linen Finish
- 4 color front, 4 color back, 4 color tuck box
- Shrink wrap around tuck box
PLEASE NOTE: On the GLOW-IN-THE-DARK deck the ink is raised a little and changes the feel slightly of the deck.

We have had some serious good karma as we have shown this deck to friends and family over the past few months.Each one of them have been instrumental in helping to not only come up with an acceptable design, but in tweaking that idea in to something that turned out pretty cool.
FULL DISCLOSURE: Keep on truckin' disco queen because this deck of cards was designed with no need for additional substances in order to help you be able to say, "Jeepers, Creepers this is one Hallucinatory deck of cards"! WE ARE CARD FANATICS!
Okay, we are sure there are plenty of people out there who are more fanatical about playing cards than we are, but have turned our hobby in to the extreme in our minds. With well over 10,000 decks in our collection (we lost count a couple of years ago) we LOVE collecting unique decks of cards.
Since Kickstarter came along we have kept that craze going by "Kicking it Forward" and supporting quite a few decks of cards here on Kickstarter. So we are a little different than other Kickstarter creators who come along, create a deck and never show they backed anything. We have supported over 70 different decks so far and we will continue! We just can't help the addiction.

Since we have printed over 200 different style decks with our current manufacturers in the past few years we are confident in them and believe it is a testament to their willingness to provide quality product time after time.
Due to the fact that we are already set up to pack and ship from our eCommerce sites we are fully capable to ship rewards and get them to those who pledge to support.
