How's everyone doing? We're doing well. Curt is busy getting back into the grind of freelance editorial art. He's putting together some amazing work. You can check it out here: http://blog.curtmerlo.com/
Eddie is still scrambling to find some time to chip away at the sequel to Parabolis. Needless to say, marketing has taken a backseat for now. But there are some interesting things brewing in the background.
1) Saboteur Press will be releasing the e-book version of Parabolis sometime next month (hopefully) with a promotional period during which time, the e-book will be available for free.
2) There will be an art show in August featuring Parabolis and Curt's work from the project in Santa Ana Artwalk, here in California.
3) A "producer" has contacted Curt and Eddie regarding the licensing rights to Parabolis with an interest in making it into either a T.V. pilot or feature film. Eddie will be meeting with him at the end of the month. We're keeping our cool about it since Hollywood is known for its outer rim of hopefuls clamoring to break into the industry. This could just be low hanging fruit. Either way, we'll keep you posted.
I guess that's it. In the meantime, we'd love to hear from you. Have you had a chance to read the novelzine? What did you think? Any favorite characters you'd like to see play a bigger role in the 2nd book? Which actors would you cast for Parabolis if it ever became a movie? What did you have for lunch? Eddie had pancakes and Curt ate his shoe.
