We are passionate about seeing the character of God reflected into this world. Over the last twelve years we've seen 'everyday activists' doing this in incredible ways, from inner-city Bradford to the streets of Zimbabwe, from the corridors of Whitehall to the local foodbank.
The podcast will share stories of campaigners, social entrepreneurs and plenty of ordinary people who have stepped out of their doors and chosen to engage with the brokenness they see around them. We'll hear how well-known (and lesser known) projects started, and explore the stories of the people behind them. And we'll occasionally also talk to the theologians, practitioners, and strategists that they draw on.
More than anything, we'll join the dots between faith, hope and action.
Each weekly podcast will be professionally edited to a maximum of fifteen minutes (with a longer cut available for those who want to go into depth), under the watchful eye of Abi Thomas (6 years experience in BBC Radio).
Our opening series will be called 'The Lightbulb and The Jump', featuring an interview with an existing activist, exploring how they got started.
Risks and challenges
At present Abi and I are pursuing this pro bono, so the greatest risk is that we can't afford to carry on doing that.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
