KPBS-San Diego television premiere TONIGHT and upcoming broadcast on KQED's Truly CA series

Posted by Alberto Pulido (Creator)

You and 150 other Kickstarter supporters, and countless other believers and volunteers, helped make this happen: "Everything Comes from the Streets," tracing the origins and history of lowriding in San Diego and the borderlands, will reach public television audiences California-wide this month, starting TONIGHT (9/2, 8pm) with our premiere on KPBS-San Diego. If you live in San Diego or know family and friends who do, please help us rally supporters to tune in. We're hoping for a large viewership to get this important story out, but also to show other PBS stations that there's strong interest and support for this film.

We're also gearing up for a Northern California broadcast Sept. 14, at 6pm, on public television flagship station KQED-San Francisco, which is programming "Everything Comes from the Streets" on its award winning documentary series Truly CA and for the station's celebration of Latino Heritage Month. (The film is featured on the cover of the station's monthly newsletter that went out to thousands of its members this month too!) We're very excited to share the film with lowriders and the greater communities of San Francisco and San Jose.

We couldn't have made it this far without your support and enthusiasm. So thank you again and keep spreading the word.

Celebrating life low-n-slow,

Team Everything Comes from the Streets
