Plain Paper Love Has Arrived?
Sorry it's been so quiet over here. But as of now we can see the first of you have already received their issue.
After print was done and the team needed some time to breathe our love to hold the magazine in our hands though instantly rolled in and we were sure we did not want to keep you from this moment too long either. In between this moment and now has been a very intense and careful process of wrapping and shipping - to make sure all magazines will be on your doorsteps with our personal signature.
It's such an exciting feeling holding the issue you've developed with the utmost care over the last months in your hands. So we want to take a moment to share with you, what we hope we have you see when diving into these stories from the arctic north by yourself:
We want you to experience what we were able to take home from this outstanding island and capturing these stories that write history in Iceland's culture right now. Very strong people who start turning the boat because they just believe in their idea, a flourishing and one of a kind culinary culture that has started to bloom aside from the breathtaking nature all those tourists started to wander the past year and an island that is so wide though rooted in its common survival spirit and rule breaking attitude. That's how new things can fall into place, that's how travelling there can let have you a taste of real innovative spirit to take home leaving mouthwatering taste of all these drinks and flavours rising up there at the moment.
We are so stoked to see the first issue pop up on your shelves, tables, beds, doorsteps, showers or wherever you are going to take yours. So please let us take part in your reading experiences, each experience of you will keep us going. #risingtides
We're back on our notebooks and phones now to make sure Salt & Wonder also gets to all those lovely local bookshops out there.
