Field Notes: Isopedes
A new type of creature makes its appearance in Great Alkali Basin; the pillbug-like Isopede, an armored arthropod which is relatively harmless:
Isopedes have strange dietary habits, actually drawing sustenance from toxic waste! By pushing Isopedes into the right position, one can use them to clear a path through this hazardous terrain.
When attacked, Isopedes respond by rolling into a ball. Balled-up Isopedes can be kicked and rolled, much like a standard barrel.
Isopedes can grow up to 3 tiles in length, and can only be pushed from the front or back, meaning they have a tendency to get in the way at times.
