First Stretch Goal Achieved, Oculus Rift at GDC, Chris Avellone and Torment: Tides of Numenera
We reached our $20,000 Stretch Goal!
Thank you everyone so much! We have just reached our first Stretch Goal: The Rainforest Environment. I know the team will have a ton of fun designing and building that environment for the final game. Let’s celebrate with a cute photo of a baby rainforest anteater:
We tried out the Oculus Rift Dev Kit yesterday at GDC! This thing is going to change the way so many of us game. You really feel as if the environment of the game world surrounds you. Frankly, if they hadn’t had more people in line, we would have lost track of time just exploring.
Chris Avellone and Torment: Tides of Numenera
We wanted to thank Chris Avellone for meeting with us the other day and giving our game a thumbs up! He is such a great guy, and an amazing game designer and writer – so it really means a lot to us indie devs to get that kind of feedback.
We also wanted to give a shout out to Torment: Tides of Numenera by inXile. You have probably already heard of this amazing game on Kickstarter, but it can’t hurt to hear it again! We backed this project and are excited for its release! If you like RPGs, or a good story, or both, go check this game out!
Thanks again to our awesome backers, and let's hope we can make another stretch goal or two before this Kickstarter ends! :)
