Thankful Frankie is a book written by Kathleen Cruger and illustrated by Al Johnson & Emily Serruto. The book encourages a habit of gratitude in both the children and adults who read it. Frankie, and adventurous kid, loves toys and materials things more than anything. Frankie always carries a large pack filled with toys, games and gadgets -- things believed to bring happiness and joy, until one day the toy pack is left at the park. Frankie is inconsolable until Frankie learns to find gratitude for the simple things in life.
Thankful Frankie is more than just a book as it enables the readers to connect on a meaningful level as they share and discuss things, people, places, and events they are thankful for. Instilling gratitude at a young age has many benefits that can positively affect our everyday lives. Each book includes journal / discussion prompts at the end, creating space for children to write, draw, or dictate what it is they are thankful for. This further encourages a regular gratitude practice and makes for a great keepsake! Want to learn more about the benefits of a regular gratitude practice? Risks and challenges
The book is finished and the designs/layout are being finalized as we write this. Potential risks include shipping and packaging time. We would love for this book to be ready for the holidays, but because this is our first time printing a book, there may be unexpected hiccups that require more time and patience. Because of this we are setting reward delivery dates for January 2019.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
