Our general policy is to charge actual shipping costs. This can obviously vary a great deal depending on where you live and where we ship from. There are two other complicating factors. First, we don’t know what the final weight of the packages will be. The core game will weigh around 4 pounds (that’s the weight of the base Sentinels of the Multiverse game, on which ours is patterned) but stretch goals may add to that. Second, shipping prices can change over time. By the time we ship next year, prices may have gone up.
With our Blue Rose Kickstarter, we were able to ship overseas packages from England and Australia and that helped keep the cost down for backers. We are going to do that again, though details may be different. Brexit may affect things in England, so EU packages may go out of Ireland or France. We are aware of how ridiculous overseas shipping from the US has gotten and will do our best to work around it. For our Freeport Kickstarter, it was much cheaper for us to send a big box full of 1.5 ounce packages to Australia to be posted there than spend the $13.50 per package the US Post Office would have charged us.
