For easy cleaning we hand-stitch the spine of the leather so the leather can come off when you want to clean, but not during normal use. No glue is used to hold the leather in place.
Our first two products:
A 16oz. (pint size) leather-wrapped Mason Jar, handcrafted in America, wrapped in leather from the Horween Leather Company in Chicago, the same tannery the National Football League entrusts for the leather to make its footballs. It has a leak-free lid so you can throw it in your bag for when you are ready to use.
An 8oz. leather-wrapped flask, handcrafted in America and made with premium stainless steel that's leak-free and twice as thick as the industry standard. It's then wrapped in leather from the Horween Leather Company in Chicago, the same tannery the National Football League entrusts for the leather to make its footballs.
Like a good family story, our goods are meant to be passed down from generation to generation so we guarantee them forever.
All orders for early backers will ship early December, well before the holidays.
We will collect custom engraving information at the end of the campaign. Please see FAQS section for multiple orders and feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
We tightly hand-stitch the spine so it won't come off unless you want it to. No glue is used to hold the leather in place.
Each Flask comes in a custom box with funnel and solid repurposed Redwood tags that read:
This original 1776 Company flask is handcrafted in America and made with premium stainless steel that's leak-free and twice as thick as the industry standard. It's then wrapped in leather from the Horween Leather Company in Chicago, the same tannery that the National Football League entrusts for the leather to make its footballs.
We use the Horween Leather Company, located in Chicago and founded in 1905. They make some of the best leather in the world. It is the exclusive supplier of leather for National Football League footballs and supplies the leather that is used for National Basketball Association basketballs.
Premium stainless steel with laser-welded joints is used for extra durability. Each flask is individually leak tested using a pressurized air and water system. The body of the flask is nearly twice as thick as the industry standard.
A flasks has always been the perfect gift for celebrating life's greatest achievements with the people that mean the most in your life.
Our tee-shirts are made of American Apparel's high quality Tri-Blend fabric, which makes the shirts both extremely comfortable and durable. For the printing design, we partnered with Vets Corps USA, a non-profit vocational rehabilitation program that provides job training for returning Veterans. Working closely with the West Los Angeles V. A. Hospital, both injured and non-injured Veterans are offered a wide variety of job training possibilities.
In the spirit of fundraising we are donating 10% of our total Kickstarter sales to buy toys for the Toys for Tots program.

Risks and challenges
Risks: Like most projects, the biggest challenge we will face is shipping the orders on time. We do not rely on a 3rd party manufacture we handcraft the leather "in-house" so we are 100% dedicated to delivering on time. We have also begun purchasing the material and working on orders to help us stay ahead and make sure delivery is not delayed.
Challenges: We tried our very best to source our premium stainless steel flasks in America but found it impossible. Every company we reached out to in America only resells the flasks they sourced abroad and told us they just aren't made here. We partnered with a company that is trusted for some of the largest retailers in the world. They are committed to working conditions and have been given a Gold Star rating for 5 years.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
