A light, quick family game [...] leaking the farming theme!
Trevor Lehmann: An avid gamer since the age of four, I grew up playing video games and board games alike; eventually transitioning from player to creator. After consuming games of all types for decades, I now wish to create my own projects and share them with the world. I created the company Convergent Games to achieve this end.
Crop Cycle is a synthesis of my love of card games and the beauty of prairie agriculture.
Daniel Prairie: Being a freelance multimedia designer has its perks! Since my youth, I've always had a fascination with creating and tinkering. Crop Cycle managed to engage me in a way that few other projects have. It gave me a creative outlet, but also required skills I never thought I had! As a tabletop game junky, its been very rewarding to help Convergent Games bring a fresh, new game to the world and it won't be the last!

Risks and challenges
Every project has its challenges and manufacturing a card game is no different. Most artwork is finalized and once the funding goal has been reached, the game will go through a final edit before the files are sent to the manufacturer for printing. I am touching up the artwork on the cards and adding one additional card, but this is all expected to be finished one month after the Kickstarter. This period of updates will coincide with the 2-3 week transfer time of payments following a successful Kickstarter.
Manufacturing does open up a number of variables that cannot be accounted for relating to changes in production, shipping and material costs. I am confident that communication during all stages of the production and fulfillment process will minimize these variables and ensure that pledges are fulfilled in a timely fashion.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
