Hey there, Comics Party People (and other non-comics people who still like to party)!
Comics creators Claire Connelly and Erica Schultz are known in both indie and mainstream comics circles as the second coming of Kirby and Lee. Maybe not, but at least in their own heads. They've partnered MANY times to bring the world such delightful stories as The Unauthorized Biography of Winston Churchill: A Documentary and Cheese: A Love Story, as well as "Bishop Takes Rook; Knight Takes Pawn" in the anthology This Nightmare Kills Fascists and Space Man (available here).
Well, they're collaborating again for STRANGE TAILS, starring the sci-fi space opera Eve: The Immortal Lobster!
Eve is an oversized tale of alien lobsters fighting for freedom! YES! Lobsters and Freedom!
A Captain in the Jastogian Navy on the normally peaceful planet of Uisce, Eve's life is turned upside down when the warmongering Beurre invade her planet in search of Asin (salt). Eve assembles a small group of rebel fighters that make a last ditch effort at survival. The losses are many. Was the price of freedom too high?
Claire and Erica are asking for help to fund a print run of Strange Tails, a book not only collecting the brand new, colorful comic Eve: The Immortal Lobster, but ALSO including new TECHNICOLOR editions of the popular favorites The Unauthorized Biography of Winston Churchill: A Documentary and Cheese: A Love Story .
You heard that right! Claire and Erica have enlisted the help of Liana Kangas, Matt Emmons, Gab Contreras, and Cardinal Rae to give these stories the Wizard of Oz treatment! (Minus the flying monkeys.)
That's 94 pages of full color awesomeness from these two incredible creators, rounding out what is lovingly known as the "Tail Trilogy."
A better look at Claire's INCREDIBLE cover!

Risks and challenges
As of this launch, all the line art for Eve: The Immortal Lobster is completed, and both The Unauthorized Biography of Winston Churchill: A Documentary and Cheese: A Love Story are completely colored. There could be unforeseen issues that come up during fulfillment, but we believe we've budgeted enough time to deal with anything that might arise. Should issues arise, all backers will be notified as soon as possible. Claire has run several successful Kickstarter campaigns on her own, and Erica has been a contributor to many others. Between the two of them, they're prepared to get this book out when promised.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
