Shackle is releasing their music and video on a USB stick designed by artist Isabelle Vigier.
Shackle plans to release a USB stick, the Shackle Stick, with one hour of live recordings from concerts plus videoclips from performances, liner notes and photographs from performances.
Shackle is Anne LaBerge on flutes and electronics and Robert van Heumen on laptop-instrument and controllers. We make improvised music, using a self-built networked computer system to structure the improvisations.
We have teamed up with artist Isabelle Vigier who will design the USB stick, its packaging and the PDF documentation on the stick.
We have the performance recordings and we still need funding for the mixing and mastering, the video recording and editing, the design by Isabelle Vigier and the production and promotion of the Shackle Stick. Our total projected costs are $8000 and we are asking you for $5000.
