Why the Faetell Handbag
There are many briefcases out there, many handbags, and many iPad stands - but the Faetell handbag is the only bag out there that elegantly integrates all of those elements.
Both in materials and craftsmanship, quality is what makes the difference between just 'any' handbag, and a luxury handbag. The quality of the Faetell handbag is on par with luxury handbags that typically retail for $1000+.
The Faetell Handbag is specially built for the iPad, it carries and protects the iPad, while making it fully and conveniently accessible right from within the bag. Outside of its superb build quality and stylish gender neutral design (also available in brown leather), the Faetell handbag has 3 unique functions.
How the Faetell Handbag Works
- Quickly flip the cover open to use the iPad directly
- The entire bag can transform into a variable angle viewing stand
- The phone speed holster makes your phone quickly accessible without fully opening the bag.
The bag features a specially designed built in holder for the iPad. It holds the iPad securely and while doing so all of the buttons and plugs are still accessible. The iPad can be taken out and put in easily, but is held securely. In addition to the phone speed holster, inside the bag there is an organizer, and just the right amount of space to take what you need with you while keeping the bag small and mobile.
Who Is The Faetell Handbag For
Different people like to use their iPad in different ways.
If you like to have your iPad with you while you're on the go, you're going to fall in love with the Faetell handbag! Whether its a quick emailing session at the coffee shop, checking directions while you're walking, facebooking while you wait in line, or playing iPad games on the subway - you'll wonder how you ever got along with out it!
Can you do many of these things with your phone? Yes. Will you want to when you can do them straight from your handbag with a nice big screen? Nope!
Why I Need Your Backing
After over a year of design and prototyping, I have arrived at a final prototype that works beautifully and which I've been using successfully for weeks. Now I'm ready to begin production.
I was frustrated to find that due to material procurement and hand crafting costs initial production runs of the bag were quoted at $15k+
I don't want to involve investors who will tell me how to run my company. That's why I need your help. This project will give me a sense of how many bags to make in which color, and take the Faetell handbag exactly where it should be, directly into your hands.
By backing this project you not only support the Faetell handbag and play a critical role in making my dream come true, but you'll even get your own awesome Faetell handbag as a reward.
I need your help!
Please back this project now and spread the word!

Risks and challenges
Creating a product is fun and exciting, and we can't wait to share this experience with you! Of course there are risks and challenges to overcome as we get the product ready for production, set up manufacturing, and have the Faetell handbag made and shipped.
The Faetell handbag was designed to be production ready, and we're ready to move forward on that front. The bag shown in the video is a functional prototype, and the images above are actual photos.
