Childish showcases, celebrates & supports creativity for children around the world. We are looking for funding to develop and produce our 2nd Collection of art. This will consist of unique artworks, sourced from different parts of the world, and printed as quality limited edition prints and postcards in Berlin.
There is a spontaneity and sincerity when children create. Childish is a celebration of that.
Childish features young artists and their artwork in our online store, where you can buy prints of exciting and unique art created by children from different ages, from different cultures, and located in different parts of the world. In collaboration with local and international arts organizations, profits raised through sale of artworks will go back to the community, in various forms including supplies, scholarships, new program development and community projects.
Each person who supports our endeavour will be kept up to date on the social projects we're developing and will have the opportunity to see us improve and grow.
We believe creativity transcends culture and can be healing, inspiring, and enriching, for any community it reaches.
10 different countries are represented in the first Childish collection. Childish will feature collections from different regions, in both developed and developing countries. Our first collection represents children from 9 different countries including India, Bahrain, South Korea, Philippines, Canada, Australia, Iran, Armenia, and the United States.
Our long-term goal is to continue growing our collection, pairing different artworks with different causes & projects, ranging from collaborative community art installations to individual scholarships for children who could benefit from arts programs. Every artwork we print and feature has potential to raise money to fund creative experiences for countless other children.
Our vision is to be a both a platform for ongoing arts fundraising & a marketplace for finding beautiful art.
The essence of a creative piece outweighs the technical finesse.

Risks and challenges
Having launched in June 2017, we are not yet profitable. We hope to become a self-sufficient entity by 2018. We will continues to showcase and celebrate young artists. We hope to develop our platform to be able to reach as many children as possible, contributing to young artists through recognition and inspiration, and by developing and funding creative experiences in different parts of the world.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
