The Dark Gun follows U.S. Cavalry solider, Jon Ambrose, during the era of American expansion in the west.
During the course of the story, Ambrose is a given a unique gun that begins to take hold of his mind.
Chaos soon finds Ambrose as the gun takes further hold of him.
The gun eventually leads Ambrose to a decision that changes his life forever.
This is a story about good vs evil, murder, violence and the role of a gun within that theater. The Dark Gun also explores the consequences of actions.
The Dark Gun is a 20 page full color comic book that has recently been completed.
THE GOAL OF THE CAMPAIGN
Since the book is now complete, the goal is to get it printed. The money raised through this campaign will go towards a print run of 500 full color books.
This book is a self contained story, however, the original intent was to have it carry on as an anthology. Each additional book in the series would follow a different character and how the same Dark Gun affects them throughout different eras. So any additional money raised would go towards the cost of producing the artwork for part 2.
WRITER | LETTERS | PRODUCTION
I’m a slim fit, glasses wearing, bald guy who loves dogs, beer, comics books, graphic design, movies, his wife and kid. Mix into that a healthy dose of sarcasm and self-deprecating humor and you know pretty much all that encompasses me. I’ve been a professional graphic designer for the past ten years working in a variety of marketing and advertising agencies. In short, I live and breathe graphic design. It has become part of who I am. I combined that passion with my love for comic books and that is what has led me here.

Risks and challenges
The risks are few. The book is complete and set up to be sent off for print. The reward materials are also already created and ready to be emailed or shipped out. The rewards were meant to be simple so that the main goal of getting the book printed could take center stage.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
