Welcome to the Fall of Anterra Issue #2 KickStarter Campaign
Join the exciting conclusion as an alien bird-like warrior race seek out the bearers of an ancient and powerful weapon.
The story for The Star Band Chronicles started over two years ago and was originally intended to be three separate books with the potential to go back through the story's timeline to the original war that started it all or to continue forward into the future with a new generation of heroes and their adventures. The first book is titled, The Fall of Anterra. It was during the process of doing some of the initial concept art that many people suggested to me that my story would be perfect for a comic book or animated series. So after doing some research, I felt that doing a comic book series would not only be the best way to tell the story, but also the most cost effective for myself. I have created everything that you see here and on my website, while working another full time job. I initially did many of the sketches myself to help me describe the characters and many of the details in the story. Then I took my basic sketches and worked with illustrators and graphic designers to help modify and clean up the characters. I enjoyed every step of the way and found that I was really good at the creative process.
My enthusiasm for this project became contagious as I found other people, including the illustrators themselves, drawn into the story and characters that I created. Click Art Studios, the same creative team that illustrated Issue #1, has joined me again. They are as excited to see the adventure unfold as I am to bring it to you and all the other readers.
I can't tell you how blessed and happy I am to present to you the second issue in the series. Once again, you'll see you some of your favorite characters from the first issue, like Onar, the Captain of the Sacred Keepers.

Now onto the really fun stuff. The rewards! In this kickstarter not only am I offering Issue #2, but I'm also offering a chance for readers that missed out on Issue #1 to get either a PDF copy or printed hard copy of issue #1 so they can get caught up on all the action. See rewards section.
And for those that already know how great the first issue is, there are also some new and amazing rewards, like a custom hand-painted Onar POP Doll.
Now, where does your money go? As you can see, I have already started production on issue #2. I have already written the scripts and Click Art Studios has already begun laying out the pages. So i'm in it to win it, but creating a comic requires funds, hence the KickStarter, and I need your help to get the second issue completed and printed.
Risks and challenges
As I mentioned above, production has already started. Meaning that I have already spent my own money to start production, so the risk to the backers is minimal. I have more to lose than anyone else, but I believe in what I'm creating. The story for the Fall of Anterra is a compelling good versus evil type of classical tale, but with the unexpected twists and turns of a more modern adventure story.
As far as risk and challenges for my backers, they are small to none. As you can see by my breakdown, the backer's rewards and prizes are already calculated into my cost. I don't make a cent unless I sell comics, but you still get your rewards regardless if I do or do not and if I don't make my target amount, Kickstarter returns your money, so you don't lose either way.
I guarantee the delivery of issues and other rewards because making The Star Band Chronicles is my passion and my name is attached to this project. At the end of printing issue #1 and delivering its backers rewards, there was only one person, who after several failed attempts to contact, did not get their printed copy. 1 out of 51 total backers. That's it!
